Very clean place, big with nice décor. The people were nice and attentive. The food… well, it was okay. The jalapeño cornbread was moist and fluffy, not a lot of taste. The roll, light, not very good taste. The butter or spread, little taste. The chicken fried chicken, «light» portion(smaller portion of entrée) was pounded out about 3⁄8 inch. It was pretty thin, so there wasn’t much to be moist. The breading was dry, but the chicken was hot. The green beans tasted like they were out of a can, don’t recommend them. The french fries were hot and perfectly fried, nicely seasoned. The pepper gravy was good and covered up the dry tasteless chicken. I would definately give them a chance on something else. I would recommend to them not to pound the chicken so thin, I would rather have a smaller, thicker piece that can be moist.

My Fiancé and I were going to go to Applebee’s but decided to go across the street to this place instead. The staff is fast and friendly. The place is big, open, and quiet. Our order came fast… a little too fast. I ordered the shepards pie and he ordered the chicken and dumplings. The chicken was pink. We were concerned if it was cooked or not so we called our waitress over who asked the manager who came over and explained that the chicken actually comes out of a can. And the dark meat comes out a bit pink but they cook it again after it comes out. Knowing it comes out of a can put him off but he ate it anyways. It was good but he won’t order it again. My food was okay but the sides are obviously not cooked fresh and are possibly out of a can as well. I personally won’t be coming back though.

The food wasn’t good at all the people that work there are always throwing stuff and making loud noise’s as they clean the tables and what not. The price is over done as well

My Fiancé & I had discovered this Delta while driving around. We stopped in to grab a bite and the staff was as nice as could be. Very quiet atmosphere, Very clean, & the food was amazing. Their chicken fried steak is amazing, and their fried pickles(if your a fan of pickles) are off the charts! It’s the only place i can go to get my fried pickle fix because they are the long(not small & round) pickles and their not as salty as every other place i have gone to that sold fried pickles. Their Cheese sticks are very yummy as well! You get rolls and/or cornbread with jalapeño’s(just a tad spicy but not overwhelming at all) and butter… if you like honey they can bring you that too. My fiancé & I consider this to be «our café» because we always know that if we want a relaxing yet delicious lunch that we can get it here.

My «in-laws» live in Tulsa and we visit about 3−4x a year. Every time we visit we go to this Delta Café at least once for dinner. Service is always prompt and pleasant. Food always comes out quickly. The rolls and cornbread they serve are very good(especially with honey). Food is cheap(well, being a «big city» person, I think it’s cheap). However, the food is just okay. Everything needs a lot of salt & pepper. They have some nice combo specials — you get an entrée and 2 – 3 sides for like $ 8. Can’t beat that. Portion sizes are good. They have a really large variety of sides(fried corn on the cob???) My bf always gets the chicken fried steak, and every time I tell him that they bread it too much, and it’s like 50% breading, 50% steak. But he never listens because we don’t get chicken friend steak in Chicago, and he’s always disappointed afterwards. I am a small person, but I’m a big eater. I almost always get a salad with chicken and a baked potato with the fixin’s. It’s just too much food for me to finish both!
