They have signs on the roads now, much easier to find. They are adding the terraced garden now, it will be a show stopper! They have hiking trails as well as a walk around the lake area. There are beautiful flowers now. They whole place is surrounded by high fence to keep the deer out. Nice person in the welcome center. Birds were singing when I was out there, Bell’s Vireo, chickadee, cardinals, and swallows swooping low over the water! Very peaceful and beautiful.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Oklahoma City, OK
The only reason I can’t give the TBC5 stars is because it’s not finished. If I remember correctly, there is a 20 year plan in place for TBC to make it a 150+ acre garden. As it stands now, there is a giant pond in the center of property with a trail that wraps all the way around it. Once you get about halfway around the lake, there is a neat side trail that goes out into the grassy, wooded area that isn’t maintained and just left to be. If you follow it long enough, you end up in the center of a 100 year old persimmon grove. There is a big informational panel in the grove that shares the history of the grove and is actually pretty neat. The flower and tree selections for the TBC are very pretty, and for the most part, native to Oklahoma… at least the ones I stopped to investigate. You can tell that a lot of effort has been put into making the TBC a must see for anyone visiting Tulsa. I’m excited to return in the future once more projects have been completed.
