We are from Tulsa and were planning on going to Oklahoma City for their Segway tour, but after being treated with incredible rudeness and disrespect by the owner of Sure Beats Walking Segway tours, we decided not to go. Afterward, I discovered Tulsa Segway purely by accident. I called and booked a tour for the next day(Labor Day) and the lady I talked to was friendly and helpful. We arrived a few minutes early as requested and watched a safety video and signed a waiver before we were on the way. I learned a lot about downtown Tulsa, it’s history and architecture… things I didn’t know even though I’ve lived here almost 20 years. If you have never ridden a Segway before, don’t be intimidated. They are safe and very easy to learn and the guide runs you through a proper orientation before the tour begins. Once you get the hang of it, they are super fun! A few tips– it is better to book by phone instead of using the website in order to avoid the«convenience fee» associated with booking online. Also, be advised, this tour is the equivalent of standing in one place for two hours but you will have ample opportunities for breaks. This is a new company and in my opinion, this is a «must do» activities for residents and tourists alike.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Tulsa, OK
Experienced a Tour today and was so very impressed! Both Amanda and Cicely who guided us were not only knowledgeable about our city and its history, super friendly, and exceptional in teaching us new beginners on the fine techniques of maneuvering our machines. I’m 58 and my husband is 68 and in minutes we were motoring like pros thanks to the girls great teaching. We got to experience many of Tulsa’s landmarks up close and the 2 hour tour encompassed Downtown, One OK Field, Brady district, Blue Dome, Greenwood area, the BOK center, jazz lab, center of the universe, Guthrie Green and my favorite the Reconstruction Park memorial to the Tulsa race riots. These ladies are brand new to downtown and we think they knocked the ball right out of the park!!! Try it for yourself and you’ll be glad you did!
