If I do say so myself…5 stars not only because I’m the lead student, but because the people that frequent the location makes this place outstanding. This is not just about paying for lessons. It is the most diverse dance community. By adding Salsa and Bachata in your life you are creating the possibility to meet people everywhere you go. I’ve seen lives transformed here. #BailaTulsa

Been there since this place has opened and have had the pleasure of watching it grow into an amazing dance studio where people who have a passion for dancing(whether they know it or not) go. The studio socials are always fantastic. Philip and Carla are so open and welcoming. The classes are great for beginners and seasoned dancers alike. I’ve loved being a part of the TulSalseros family and I’m looking forward to many more years with them! They have several different levels of salsa and bachata and love to see new people coming in all the time. Check out for the details :)

How do I even begin reviewing TulSalseros? This is THE place to go if you want to learn how to dance salsa in Tulsa. Philip and Carla make it more than a dance studio. TulSalseros is a family. I know it sounds mushy, but bear with me. As a newbie in Tulsa, I was horrified to find a lack of salseros and spots to dance(I was so spoiled in Houston!). As soon as I started asking around, everyone directed me to TulSalseros. I wasn’t looking for classes but it sounded like they were keeping salsa alive in Tulsa. When I finally made it to their class(the first one is always free) I loved the homey environment. No one seems nervous about their dancing because everyone is comfortable with each other. They do a great job at dissecting each step and make sure everyone has it down before moving to a different one. They never take the fun out of the dancing, which is something I very much appreciate. Many dance studios fall into too much technicality and strict rules that the fun and enjoyability is lost. There is usually a time at the end with just music where everyone just dances as they please. TulSalseros are the very definition of being welcoming. One of my first classes was around my birthday and as soon as they found out, they treated me to their fun traditional birthday dance(curious? come find out!). It is no wonder why it is a family. They care about people here. Their classes are extremely affordable as well. The group classes are $ 5/hour for Walk-Ins and the group class package is $ 20 for 5 classes. Private Lessons per person are $ 35/hour and private Lessons per couple are $ 60/hour. The use of their awesome studio with smooth wood floor is $ 25/hour or 5 hour per week rate is $ 100. You can keep up with their class schedule via Facebook. I believe their Level 1&2 classes will be on Monday’s and Thursday’s and Level 3&4 classes will be on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s starting at 7PM. If you have any questions call(918) 845‑1983 or email
