Pros: large facility. I never have to wait for cardio equipment. Childcare for those with family memberships. I like reformer pilates and it’s much cheaper here than at Lifetime. Plenty of parking. Tons of exercise classes. Cons: older facility. Pool area not exactly enclosed. As others have mentioned, they’re in the middle of a huge remodel/expansion. I expect things will be awesome once all that is done. Until then, we just have to put up with all the construction mess.

This gym offers free classes. Some which are more in my interest, such as Zumba, kickboxing, and yoga. They have beginner and advanced classes. For kickboxing you do have to bring your own gloves or come early to borrow smelly ones. I have yet to use the indoor pool, but I have used the hot tub. It is relaxing for the entire 15 minutes recommended. I’ve also used the sauna and steam room. They are the size of a closet, nothing nice. The locker rooms have some really outdated seating, like plastic chair type seating. No bueno. And the showers look, well okay. The locker room bathroom is connected to the showers, so expect to take a steamy businesses. They have free wifi, but it only seems to work on the 2nd floor in particular areas. They have recently upgraded all their equipment, but I’m not liking it ;(They do have a scale, but it’s not automatic. It’s very old, and you have to calculate manually. They’re vending machines are pretty cool since they actually have healthy choices. The basket ball court has been recently renovated due to water damages and it looks good. They have 4 tennis ball courts, but only three are open. They require you to leave your membership in exchange for a racket. For the most part, the people who come here are older. I don’t mind. The membership is really cheap as well. Right now they are in the process of renovating the entire gym, so I am excited for that since this is the biggest reason I’m not giving them 5 stars. Also, they close at 10pm which sucks. Overall, I do recommend.

Wow I am the first one here to review this place. Ok so this y has free coffee, lots of classes, tons of equipment, a pool, racquetball courts day car, basketball, a playground etc. they also have an over the top friendly staff, and are fairly priced. So why did I only give it 2 stars the locker room, and the creepers in the locker room, it’s like a weird alternate universe field with the elderly and obese(who evidentially are not aware that the rest of the facility exists, since I never see them working out) who insist on rebelling against status quo by walking around nude First no shower curtains in the showers(I know this must cost, an excessive amount like $ 8, I mean really what place with thousands of members could afford $ 8) really, I mean are these a high cost items, it’s not that one or two showers were missing, it’s that there were none, now I know why the village people wrote YMCA if it was the same as this one, it might was well be a full fledge Male review. Also in the hot tubs, and stem rooms it says shorts must be worn, cool this will reduce ding dongs being seen every where right? Nope there were more 70 plus year old mean, with towels(just around there necks) walking around aimlessly than I could count. The fact there was a lounge area in the locker room, so the naked elderly and over weight(some were so fat, It at least hung over there Johnson’s, which is a plus when you have to see the morbidly obese nude, who too had towels around there neck and not there waist, maybe this is the fashion now in europe or something, where the morbidly obese and elderly strut their stuff nude with just a towel around there neck or something), and to make it stranger there were fully clothed people just hanging out, in the middle of this nudist camp for the fat and elderly they call there locker room watching a flat screen TV,(why would you hang out in a locker room watching this, with all that grossness around you, oh oh, maybe its a form of hazing to join a frat or something) I kid you not, I saw not one of these nude dudes at all in the gym(and it shows, everyone without clothes, had the most fat, or wrinkles to hide) which is not surprising given there figure. The dry sauna was mediocre at best but it was the only place in theblocker room free of «twigs and berries» and I was too afraid to get in a hot tub, or the steam room with a geriatric. As I feel if they pruned up anymore, they would turn from human, to one of those«California raisins» from the commercials from the late 1990’s and if that happens I am confident I would have a permanent scent of prunes on my body the rest of my life, which is something I don’t want to live with. I say, they charge the elderly and overweight who insist on being nude extra, they may be comfortable with there grossness but I am not. Clothes are good, please cover your fat, and your wrinkles, and a towels belongs around your waste not your neck, your waist In addition, it would be nice if they had a juice bar, or sold real energy/protein drinks instead of pepsi machine(this is suppose to be a healthy place, what next hospitals putting big macs on the menu for dinner to heart patients as hospital food?).
