Love this place, we always sit in the bar and get good service. I would go here more often but it is expensive for what it is.

It’s okay. Their lunch buffet is greasy. The staff has generally been attentive and helpful. The entrance feels very unappealing during lunch as it’s not staffed and the signs directing you aren’t laminated or done nicely. I’ve gone there with a big group a few times before and been happy with the service. The pizza sauce is quite salty. Not my first choice but I’m happy to join when a group wants to go. Update: I can’t reply to the comment below. I tend to go once every month or two, and like I said above the staff are the best part of the experience. I always leave happy. There is just better pizza in town. For what the place is it’s very good. I’m tough to get a five star review out of. :)

I am SO sad to have to leave this review, but I feel I must. My mother and I have been eating here for quite a while(an employee remembered us and asked if we were all having calzones again! — kudos to her!) and have continued to eat here since my sister joined us from NY. This was one of the two safe places to eat out in the area(Sushi House is the other) and we all decided that tonight was a good night for calzones. Not really. :( The house salad with Italian dressing is the best restaurant salad I have ever had. It still is. The service has gone downhill quite a bit since we started visiting the Tumwater location. It’s sad because the Lacey location’s service is still fantastic, just further away. Whomever our server was tonight is lucky to have a job. They used to offer comment cards in each checkout folio and now I understand why they stopped. Let me give you a clue: it is your job to make sure everything on our plates is correct and at the end of a meal you ask if your diners want a box for their leftovers or would they care for dessert. Aren’t you supposed to try to up sell? That’s just normal business. I cringed when I saw she would be our waitress because we have had her before… I wish I knew her name but all I know is that her eyebrows were painted on and she had gaping holes in her ears. And a fake smile. My sister is allergic to onions. Our orders were correct, kind of, and placed incorrectly in front of us. I always order the veggie calzone with artichoke hearts instead of onions. It is always great. Tonight, however, there was an abundance of fresh tomato in the calzone where there had never been before(it isn’t even listed in the menu description) and when I brought it to our server’s attention she remarked that the cook was new. Um, ok… maybe the cook shouldn’t add stuff that isn’t in the description. Maybe the cook should concentrate on learning how to cook. Also, the green peppers weren’t even cooked. I miss the old cook, whoever that was, that didn’t put raw tomatoes in the calzones. While I am writing about the food, I may as well mention that it is odd that there is no ricotta in the calzones. We are from NY and there is always ricotta in a calzone. Maybe it’s West Coast ‘flair’ but I don’t get it. We have had a few decent servers here in the past but this newer girl needs to learn how to do her job. Apologizing behind a giggle and fake smile just doesn’t cut it. I will also add that the other reviewers are right about service being slow. They are slow to seat you and there is barely anyone ever in the restaurant. Weird. I hate to say that we might actually come back to eat here but I am afraid to do so after writing this review because who knows what disgruntled servers and cooks would add to our food? I’m not exactly trying to hide who I am… pretty sure she knows who we are because I told her that maybe she should ask us if we wanted ‘to go’ boxes or dessert. This is so sad. We loved eating here until tonight. I cannot speak for my mother or sister, but my calzone was the worst I’ve had and I don’t understand why people can’t just do their jobs. Is there new management along with the new cook? Why is the service bad? We might come back but I think we will drive the extra miles to Lacey the next time we want to go to Infernos. What a shame.

How do I loath thee? Let me count the ways. Not from around here and In the neighborhood on a Sunday, I found that none of the more appealing(and higher rated) places were open for lunch. I just wanted some good carry out, an alternative to burger joints. I was shocked at prices on the menu — more than $ 13 for a sandwich and chips. But I had no place else to go. Despite more staff than customers, nobody offered to take my order until I stepped behind the counter and stopped one of the folks going in and out of the kitchen. I made clear that I was in a hurry when I chose a sandwich, not pizza, and was assured that it was quick to prepare. Well I waited and waited. And waited some more. A trip to the restroom, read the local history from a mural in the lobby, check in with the kids via text, take a quick phone call. Finally the sandwich is ready. Oh, it comes with a small salad. May I have a fork, please. A plastic fork. Lots of looking, asking in the kitchen, more looking. Luckily that gave me time to check what I got, and no chips. No chips! Excuse me, doesn’t this come with chips? More inept searching and finally I have my sandwich and I have my fork and I have my chips. And a small salad. Out the door, hop in the car, off to pick up the kids. I get where I’m going, and grab the sandwich. What the! An Italian sub with greasy crumbled sausage(like they spread on pizza) spilling out the sides, in a puddle of pork fat. Gee, missed the part about the«au grease». Short story long, my long-awaited sandwich was just plain inedible. I loath the service, I loath the prices, and I loath the food. That’s three. Loaths, not stars. Only one of those.

I had a pizza craving for lunch. Tried Inferno’s despite more favorable reviews of pizza places nearby. Unfortunately, I made a mistake. The gentlemen that greeted me didn’t say hello & was genuinely unfriendly. He also kept eating directly from the buffet(yeah, I’m pretty sure that was you Brad. Are you the owner?). The wait staff was ok but I ordered the buffet so one can’t expect too much. The pizza was very disappointing. Crust was cardboard’ish in texture. Cheese was overlooked. Sauce is bland. The reviews are really spot on and it appears the problem starts right at the top.

I’ve driven by this place for years and suddenly we needed dinner in the area. The service wasn’t bad the girl seemed like a seasoned server. However blech the pizza was about as great and as thoughtful as the cheap frozen pizza from a store. We ate it, we brought home leftovers but as we walked out we agreed that we’d never be back. The crust was cheap cracker of a processed thing. The chicken probably comes precooked and frozen. No love, no thought no good. Costco is more satisfying

@sanjeev b. Are you sure you didnt eat the pizza? There are cameras in the restaurant. Maybe you should have mentioned in your hate post that you actually ate the food. Maybe you shouldn’t call people whores if your an asshole. I love infernos. I have never had any problems

I am giving it the lowest start rating which is one but I would give it 0 stars if possible because a restaurant has no business if it can’t have basic customer service culture figured out. We visited on a day they have the buffet and the manager at duty who sat us down forgot to mention that they have practically closed the buffet and let us grab food from the buffet. Then the waitress comes down to tell us that buffet is closed and that manager won’t provide any amends and we will be charged the full price for the buffet since we already got some food. We left the place without eating the food and paid the price for the buffet and I won’t be going back to this place. The manager on duty was Cassidy and she acknowledged that she should have mentioned that buffet was being closed but didn’t and that she couldn’t do anything. Her attitude was worse than the food and an important reason why this place has such low rating overall.

I know this places gets some lower reviews, give it a shot on your own decision. It’s a bar that serves pizza. But the pizza is good. The menu options are plenty and it’s fresh made pizza. Can’t say it’s awesome pizza or service, sort of hit or miss. Some of the salad dressings are homemade. HAven’t had much but the pizza and salad, so caveat emptor but give it a shot.

Do not go to Inferno’s in Tumwater!!! We were having a dinner with 6 of us, my husband works nearby so our plan was to have him there and order appetizers so when we got there we would have food for 2 children who were starving from swimming at Great Wolf. Big mistake! My husband was sitting alone in the bar. I was confused why he wasn’t at the table with food and he said their policy was they would only seat a table if there were 4 people there! We sat there in the entry for 5 – 10 more minutes, not one employee acknowledged our existence. I needed to take some medication with food, so I asked if we could be seated to order appetizers. Again, they said no. The manager said we would need to wait 10 minutes or eat in the bar, that was impossible because we had our son. I asked why because I could clearly see there were multiple tables open in the dining room. He said we couldn’t be seated because they only had two servers. We were finally seated and there were only eight tables occupied! It was not a crowded Friday night, it was 5:30 on a Wednesday! To her credit, our server was great! She was the one bright spot in the restaurant. The food was slightly below average. The chicken nachos were great, Caesar salad not good, pizza blah. We eat out 3 – 4 times per week and I will never be back to this place, EVER! Do not waste your money or time.

Well last Saturday was the last time we will ever go back to this location. After seeing the other reviews I know I’m not alone. What happened to the good food and service you had when you first opened? I’m pretty passive, and it takes at lot to get me riled, but the quality of the food and total lack of service was over the top. There are way too many other places to go that I can spend over $ 25 for a pizza. Goodbye. I hope future patrons take heed.

This place has pretty great pizza but last week I was craving a big salad so I ordered the Caprese salad. I was disappointed to see the lettuce was disgusting and wilted and still covered in dirt. I sent it back, which is the first time I’ve ever sent food back, EVER! Waitress brought a new salad and sadly my lunch break was over so I got a to go box. Got back to work and opened it up, same crap… so gross. I’ll stick to pizza!

Several people raved about this place, but I just found it to be rather mediocre. I had a small salad & a vegetarian pizza — it was just so.underwhelming. The server was pleasant & seemed to be rather busy, but she took the time to suggest some of her favorites. There really wasn’t anything about the pizza that stood-out — it was all very formulaic & very bland. Wood fired… really? I covered my pizza AND salad with red pepper flakes and called it a night.

The pizza is pretty average and the service was ok… Nothing special about this place and I kind of wish I’d have driven a couple more blocks down the road and went to Brewery City. It was fairly clean.

You must not have read the other poor service reviews. No worries, we won’t be back, but we’ll also steer everyone we know away from your place.

Words can’t describe how bad the food was. 32.00 for dinner for two people that we did not eat. Never going back!

Went in Sunday Jan 26th for dinner, restaurant had maybe 3 tables of people, yet we had to wait close to 10 minutes to be sat at a table. Food was decent, but too expensive.

Despite the poor reviews we decided to form our own opinion of this place. I’ve never been here before, but pizza buffet? I’m in! We arrive. There is a first hostess table with a sign that says move on to the next station, so we did. At the second station was a sign to wait to be seated. While we waited, too long, four or five staff puttered around right in front of us never acknowledging our existence. There were four of us so we were hard to miss. Finally a young lady somewhat greeted us, are there four of you? She said, I’m just trying to figure out where to seat you, while she grabbed menus. Oh my! You can’t see the dining room from where we were standing, but it is payday for state workers, crapola! This place must be crowded! She grabs our menus and we follow her to the dining area. It’s empty. There are like 6 tables seated along the periphery of the place. Here we go! At this point they’re already at at least two strikes for me. I know you may think I’m tough on places but this is the crap I experience! COMEON! A whole empty place and you put us right next to a couple. Come on! Can I take your order? Buffet for all. Waters all around. After the waitress left, my very astute coworker noticed on the menu that the buffet included a beverage. Come on! Why were we not told. At this point the waitress was gone. We all made our way to the buffet where we caught her and notified her that, hey, we get pop, please give us some. We placed our pop orders and commenced to the food. I hope that nowhere, anywhere do they call what they offer a salad bar because it’s not. It’s a salad bowl. Premade salad, probably from a bag in a giant silver bowl. That’s it. No choices to be had except dressing, which there was a ton of. Probably 8 or so to chose from. I chose blue cheese and it was really good. Probably lighthouse. The only thing was the little portal for the dressing clogged a bunch. I couldn’t figure out how to get the goodness to my lettuce. Second trip to the bowl I tried smashing the portal down… that seemed to free the glory hole and white chunky goodness flowed. In between the salad bowl and pizza were two pasta dishes. Penne with red and penne with white. Oh, and breadsticks. I got those the first time around. They’re good. I didn’t get pasta until my second trip. I only got the white sauce one. It was disgusting. Gross O. Yucky. Stay away. The noodles were mushy just yuck My coworker had the red and said it was not good. Said the sauce was not good. On to the pizza! There were several to choose from. I think it was a fine selection and everything seemed fresh. Nothing special about the pie except the pepperoni was yum. Big slices of yummy pep. The pizza was nothing special. I preferred the thin crust. Sauce was meh. Overall, wouldn’t come again nor recommend.

There was no host and I I had to find someone to actually seat me after seeing a server ignore me when I asked for help. We got our appetizer and it was dry and no sauce on the wings we finally got our pizza ad found a hair in it. Our hotel recommended this place and I wasn’t that happy but the server was really nice atleast.

We came in and were waited on right away, the waitress was very pleasant. Now that we got the good part out of the way… we ordered the pulled pork BBQ sliders, which had pretty good BBQ sauce if only it had had some pork it it would have been great. We also ordered a large platter of Chicken Nachos, when it came to us it looked like it had been left under the broiler too long, the little bit of cheese that was on it was burnt onto the chips and dark brown and the chips were burnt black on the top, again no meat, and hardly any tomatoes, no onions, and a couple of minced black olives. We complained to the waitress who was nice enough to take it off our bill. We will not be going back, they have no quality control in the kitchen.
