We were looking for a place to have breakfast on a Sunday. We were on our way from Clarksdale to Memphis and Unilocal gave this restaurant pretty good reviews. They were wrong. Lack luster service, mediocre food, and dirty tables all around us. I would not recommend this place at all.

Might want to avoid this place for breakfast!!! On another visit, service was ssslllllooooowwwww and the food wasn’t as good. Served my daughter burnt pancakes and charged $ 10 for them. Hash browns were greasy and undercooked(though they usually are so that’s not too big a deal). But…Then we sat for a good 30 minutes just waiting for the check. Finally just walked up to the front. Looking around the room, there were a lot of tables waiting for food and some even holding menus waiting to order. Not sure if they were just understaffed on this particular morning, but the overall experience wasn’t very good — and it was pricey for breakfast.

Had a late dinner here. We tried to order the gumbo but they said it wouldn’t be ready until the next day. We ordered some soups and the fried green tomatoes which was supposed to come with chow chow and a crawfish salad. There was no crawfish salad, we asked about it and were told they were out of it but we were still charged full price. The tomatoes were great, perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. The soup was good but nothing to write home about. I also ordered a beer that never came.

Also pleasantly surprised as another Unilocaler wrote! Prices a little high but definitely worth it. Crab cakes are very good! Definitely recommend… Waay better than the buffet.

They have redone the menu, added some good fresh creative salads, sandwiches and main courses. Their bbq ribs are Memphis quality and better than some of the offerings around town. New additions include a fried trigger fish sandwich, which is excellent, another very tasty treat is the prime rib sandwich and a great new sale is the salmon salad with great fresh ingredients. The breakfast is average, as are the steaks but they offer some very nice appetizers, soups and the service is always quite good.

Overpriced. Price keeps going up signficantly higher and higher every year yet the food stays the same. The last time we ate there they were out of waffles, said the waffle iron was broke(don’t they have a spare). Breakfast ended up being over $ 40 for 3 people which is ridiculous. We won’t be eating there anymore until they lower their prices. Why doesn’t Tunica offer some decent moderately priced restaurants near the casino’s instead of everything being a ridiculously way overpriced steakhouse/buffet or the lower priced but still pricey places having really bad food/service. If we can’t get a decent dinner at a decent place for under $ 20 per person we are not going to be going to Tunica anymore, I have heard a lot of people complain about this.

Pricey coffee shop at Mgms Goldstrike in Tunica Mississippi .Menu was confusing. Ordered the chicken pot pie and Country fried New York steak. 12 to 17 dollars respectively. No salad included however hot rolls were fresh and warm when served. Meal presentation excellent. However chicken fried steak served lukewarm at best. Taste was very good but chicken was hard to find in the potpie. Server was excellent however check service should have been provided .We had to wait in line at register.
