I love this little diner! We’ve been here 4 or 5 times and it’s been great. The food is really good, down home country cooking. Today I had the homemade mac N cheese and it was really yummy. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone looking for moms comfort food! The only minus is the ladies room. It’s pepto pink and really could use an update but it’s always clean.

Went there on a Sunday for their buffet. They only put out a few items out at a time. When we kept asking them when they would bit out more bacon or any of the missing items, they would always reply, «we’re making it.» We were literally sitting around watching them to see if the food was ready yet. When the food was brought out several others would grab it it up as they too were waiting for it. They food quality was that of your typical roadside diner. There wasn’t anything they specialized in that set them apart.

Stopped here on a trip to visit family, this was the place always ate at when we were kids on the way to see The grandparents so it is a landmark in our family! Hubby had breakfast, he loved it and he is a breakfast connoisseur. I had chicken wings and onion straws, wings were good and loved the straws with horseradish sauce! Service was not over the top, but very decent and this is a good place to stop while on the road.

Typical roadside diner/lunch counter. Very small menu, mainly sandwiches and daily dinner specials. It wasn’t very crowded when we went. There is a country shop and home supply store in same building. Salad was simple, handful of lettuce a cherry tomato, and a slice of cucumber. The service quick from the kitchen. Prices were fair. My companion had the Lasagna and thought it was great.
