My memories from summers of 1965 and 1966 are much cherished and often recalled. Special friends made, Angie Sk., Dan Sm., Steve Ea., wish we could reconnect. Errored theology aside… wonderful camp. Hope to visit this summer before the Lord calls me home. Ha, just remembered throwing counselor Glen into pool. So much fun.

If I could live there forever I would. I cannot even begin to tell you how incredible this place is. The people that work here have such amazing hearts and are always willing to share love and build up the kids that come through the camp each week. I’m so blessed to say that I was given the chance to be a part of it. Spur is my second home and I always feel safe and welcome there. It’s a truly wonderful place filled with love, AMAZING food, and most importantly Jesus.

Truly awesome place. I first came here with my youth group in 2007. Our church has gone to nearly every retreat they’ve had since. This place is so awesome and the people are so loving that our family has been volunteering here as often as we can. We’ve since moved to this area and continue to volunteer even more. We love Silver Spur. They truly focus on a Christ filled experience for Christ centered lives and love people. I highly recommend attending one of the many retreats here.

I just love Silver Spur. I’ve been coming here every year at the end of February for a Men’s Retreat for a long long time. The accommodations are good and the food is always top notch.
This year I could tell they put some money into making some improvements. I was not disappointed at all in the service or facilities. Lord willing, I’ll be back next year.

came here for a christian retreat. everything is great! food, staffs, and of course everyone that came to this summer retreat. it was a memorable and wonderful experience! i had a great experience.
