Baymont Inn And Suites Tupelo

Where to begin… I pull up and first appearance I’m thinking not to bad. I walk in the door and not one person is at the front desk I sat there flicking a pen onto the counter to make noise and also say «hello» 3 or 4 times. I stood there for a good 10 min until someone finally came to help me. I finally get checked in. Get to my room and the smell was terrible smelt old and like B.O. I opened the window and turned down the AC then I went to wall mart down the street and bought air freshner and some lysol to spray the room down with. Beds aren’t super comfortable but aren’t terrible.
Some good things, not expensive, close to a lot of food and shopping. I prob will not be staying here again.

I made reservations for a King Suite (Smoking) on 04/​26/​2015 online with my check-​in date 04/​30/​2015 — 05/​03/​2015 and under the note section I wrote (I will require an early check-​in on 04/30\2015 between 8 am & 9am if you should need to contact need please call) and I put my contact number. Well on the day my wife and I arrived at Baymont Inn at 8:13am on 04/​30/​2015 upon check-​in we where told it would be charged an additional $ 30.00…ok paid that when I open the door of my room to my surprise there are two queen beds and this nasty looking room so when I call the front desk to ask what happened to me getting my king suite he told me that’s what my reservation had on it. After several minutes going back and forward with about the mix up he told me I could take it or leave I asked for my money back and told them if they tried to run my card I would file theft changes because all the problems with my room and reservation was there fault… NEVER WILL I EVER STAY THERE!

I did not seem to have quite the negative experience that the other reviewer seemed to have. We did have some trouble as far as the pricing of the room we were coming to visit family here and someone had arranged a deal for us only to arrive after spending hours on the road only to find out they had no such deal. It was very late at night so we really had no other options but to stay after some haggling we were able to get a deal but not the same one that had been quoted to us After one of the nights we were staying here two of the members of the group I was traveling with who were sharing a room had to change rooms because they saw a bug crawling up the wall. They did have a nice breakfast though that was free and my room was clean and most of the staff was friendly so for that that I will give them a little credit

I reserved this hotel through
for August 13 to 18.
We arrived on August 14. We asked for a non smoking room.
They did not had a non smoking room. We tried to cancel our reservation and find another hotel with non smoking rooms. They did not agreed and we even could not find any hotel room in this town (Tupelo MS)
We had to stay in a very very dirty stinky shit hole room.
It was sickening dirty and growth. Every thing was so dirty and everywhere was smelly, they even did not change our sheets for 3 days, this place is very dirty This is a zero star barn, not a hotel.
