Firehouse Subs

Best I can tell it’s a great sub shop… I’ve been here twice now and worried to pass judgement till this trip… Both times were great! I recommend FHS to anyone!

I pretty much eat here once a week. Since opening they have worked out all the bugs and this always seems to be a good place to eat. I never have a long wait and the quality is always good. If you like firehouse subs I recommend this one.

Love me some firehouse sammies. The firemen put Jared and the Subway to shame. And where else in the TVA city can you get corned beef, pastrami, or brisket sandwiches?

Overall, I like Firehouse. The sandwiches are good enough. The only issue is really the service. It takes a very long time for a simple order, even when there is hardly anyone there. Most of them just stand around, looking very confused for the most part.

The food is great and comes out quick. The only thing that makes this place not 5 stars, is the below average service. They serve you by name instead of number and they sometimes mix up orders. Other than the service, this places is definitely a great place for a tasty lunch!

Service was quick but the server kept interrupting me to ask about extras. Novel idea, clam up and you’ll get the answers you need without irritating me. I hate being interrupted when I am ordering. They are newly opened so likely just need some basic customer service training.
Sandwich (turkey and cranberry for me) was delicious. Ordered a small; they have three sizes. I don’t remember what they called them but they seem to be small, big, and too big for Hagrid. (Harry Potter reference).
Overall good tasting and prices seem about the same as you would pay at Subway… without the variety. Though, to be fair, they did have choices that Subway doesn’t.
I went at 3pm and the place was very dirty. Floor hadn’t been swept on quite some time and open tables were dirty. There were 8 staff members bumping into each other behind the counter and no one doing clean up. Better scheduling and work assignments would fix that (hint for owner).
I’ll try again another day once they have their game on. 2 stars for now.
