Sam’s Club

My husband made a trip to purchase a tv and waited an hour in line only be told when he got to the register that the club didn’t take visa credit cards. However, my he was trying to use a debit card with plenty of money in the account — but he didn’t want to argue with all those people in line. The lady was very rude and told my husband he couldn’t use the card so he got out another card and showed it to her to use (which was a business card with a great deal of money sitting in the account) and she wouldn’t even let him try to use the card. He got very frustrated and just left the $ 2000 tv and sound bar at the store and headed back home (an hour away). I called to talked to the manager who informed me that he heard the whole thing and it was just a misunderstanding– well to me it was a huge misunderstanding — it cost my husband a great deal in gas, and a day of traveling and we will never visit they store again. And they lost a pretty big sell.

Sam’s club itself is great, they have quality products at great prices. most the time.
however, don’t expect good customer service when you check out…
My suggestion to the Manager is to place nicer people on the checkout line.
There was absolutely NO southern Hospitality there… the lady actually looked like she was doing me a favor by checking out our items.
