We went on NY Eve around 8:00. It was very busy, but we only had to wait about 30 min. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and bathrooms very clean! Our waitress even took our photo!

Location: next to Costco, and freeway 99; setting: traditional steak house; parking: plenty and free; food: Medium-​rare Rib Eye was soft and tender (5 star). Throwdown Ribs were juicy (4 star); my weight-​sensitive crabmeat salad was really so-​so; Recommendation: steak!

Worst food I’ve had in a long time, they screwed up the order twice, steak was more like beef jerkey. Hadn’t been here in a long time and now I know why. Paid 200 bucks and left not knowing if I was hungrey or sick. Stay away.

Love the mushrooms here. They are very tasty. My son loves the beans. I have usually had very good meals here.

Visiting Turlock this evening for a memorial service and stopped for dinner. We were in a somber mood and our Experience was outstanding here at the Turlock Cool Hand Lukes! Prime rib and coconut shrimp was really good, my sister had short ribs and they were so tender and had great flavor. All meals were excellent. Loved the bacon wrapped shrimp. Best part was our server John, he gave us awesome customer service and his spirit helped make our evening very pleasant! Enjoyed our visit ! Ps. Loved the expresso but you should get small demitasse cups. Thank you!

Food was excellent. It arrived quickly and service was great. Right now they have an awesome Tues. special for prime rib.

Went today for my dad’s birthday party and they didn’t even wanna sing happy birthday to him. The manager was rude once we stepped in. The food wasn’t all that good either and especially for the price we paid. The waiter was good and very helpful other than that I would not recommend it

Janna was super duper nice & helpful. Even took something off our tab cause it took a while, which didn’t really even feel that long. Over all customer service was off the top! Burgers are great!

Probably the best bbq chicken, ribs & tri-​tip I’ve ever had. Shout out to Josh our incredible server. One of a kind. Definitely recommended to everyone.

We went on a Friday at around 7. There was a small wait to get a table do we went sat at the bar. We were quickly greeted by the waitress. About ten minutes later though, it got pretty busy even in the bar and that poor girl seemed like she was the o my one there. Would recommend having more staff at the bar to accommodate for all the table seating there. The waitress did apologize and if wasn’t too bad but noticeable enough to mention. The food was good and we even had a $ 7 coupon for our meal which was great! We both had the tri tip sandwich and it was exactly what we were craving. FYI The cheapest entre was around $ 12

The lettuce in my salad was old, the beans were reheated, the strawberry lemonade tasted like a powdered drink mix (no fresh lemons; sent back), my steak & mashed potatoes seemed old (possibly reheated), my daughter’s fries were cold & soggy and she asked for ranch dressing and never got it.
The staff was nice, but with food like this I don’t think they will stay in business… I wish I would have drive 15 more minutes to «The OutBack» or ate a sandwich at home. Totally Disappointed! :(

Good food and good service. A waiter who was on it as soon as the cups started to drop below 10%. Surprised at how good it was considering it is a chain.

I ordered the dry rub ribs which are normally a favorite of mine but here I would not recommend them. They did not caramelize it and it seemed like they quickly seared it then threw it in the microwave. The corn did not even taste like corn. The beans tasted like they came out of a can and they threw some diced (uncooked) Jalapenos in them. You expect better out of a restaurant that charges an average of 20 $ a plate. I don’t recommend this to people that look for more than just a fill up on their food.

OMG this is a great place to eat if you don’t mind waiting an hour for your dinner after your seated :(my food was hot and tasted great but once our waiter took our order we did not see him again till he brought the bill (a runner brought our food out)
Also in a side note we were seated where we could see the hostess station I watched for an hour while the hostess with the long black braid wondered around the restaurant seating people and playing with her hair. Not once «I need to push my bangs back,» she was constantly touching her hair! Can I say YUCK she touched her hair then the menu, then the silverware that she had to find because the table across from us didn’t have any.
Not sure I’ll be back even though I enjoyed the food.

This was my 3^rd time visiting CHL’s. Each experience has left much to be desired. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. However, when I go to a restaurant I want to enjoy my meal. The only reason we decided to go here was because we had been given a gift card. We got prime rib dinners. The meat was not tender, tasted like rubber, and it was obvious it was put in the microwave. My side salad had dirty lettuce, and several leaves that were brown or slimy. I can’t see myself ever going back, even if it is for free. I feel really bad saying these things, but after 3 attempts, I had to!

Food is always pretty good but today… The waiters are very, very slow :/

Hubs loved the Meatloaf.

So for starters it was an ok experience. The people were not really warm at first but opened up afterwards. As far as the food, the chicken skewer was ok… Not my fav and the rack was overlooked and slightly burned. The place was clean and cozy. No complains about that. Location is decent too. As far as service, it can use improvement and maturity. It is not a good thing to hear staff talk bad about other people while trying to relax and unwind. Not something that should happen… Over all it’s was on and I would go back to try the steak I was told was the best. Till next time.

Horrible place. Can’t believe this place is still in business. The food they make is just really sad. Two tables of customer adjacent were also complaining too.
You have to be a retard to make steak taste so bad.
I ordered a medium rare skirt steak. It’s nothing like the pictures posted on Unilocal.Those are probably photoshop image taken from the internet. My steak was well done and tasted like burnt meat.
There were also flies everywhere in the restaurant. I had to get new appetizers and repeated drinks because the flies would land on my food.
The dumpling soup was a joke. Super thick white and bland. It literally look like vomit.
The only good things were the waiters. They were nice and attentive.
Definitely not coming here again.

$ 75.00 for Iced Tea, one appetizer and dinner for two?
Steak was good NOT GREAT. Service was OK, NOT GREAT. Atmosphere was good, NOT GREAT.
Artichoke appetizer was the best part of the meal.

We came in right after they opened after a failed attempt at lunch a few weeks ago.
Dana was our server very knowledgable about the menu. She wen over the 1 special they had to offer. Allergic so I passed. Babe had a steak with red mashed potatoes and I had rodeo BBQ chicken with garlic her asparagus. Not bad.

Lava cake dessert was Delicous!
