Really nice guy old school shop. All walk in shop. Good conversation with owner makes you feel so welcome. Open Tuesday-​Friday 8am-​5pm Saturday 8am-​3pm. Closed Sunday Monday. Senior discount of $ 11 otherwise $ 12. Even cuts women with short hair and does children haircuts.

Called 15 minutes prior to driving over to get my hair cut. Dave assured me that he was going to be there until 3:00PM (at 1:40PM). Showed up at 2:00PM and no ones there. A waste of time and gas.

Want a good hair cut, cut exactly the way you want it? This is your place. Dave is a very good barber, and a good guy. Not only do I get a good haircut here, but good conversation as well. Dave’s prices are hard to beat, and others have mentioned there’s usually Western on TV.

I was looking for a down-​to-​earth, no-​BS hair cut. I got exactly what I wanted. What takes others 30 minutes to do took Dave about 5 minutes, and the result was even better. I don’t know how he does it. Must either be magic, or decades of experience. Maybe both.

Took my 10 year old son in to get his haircut and he got the best haircut he’s ever had. Dave took his time to make sure it was to my liking and my sons liking. We had no wait at all. His prices are very fair. My new place to take my boys to get their haircuts.

Hands down BEST barber in Turlock. Dave does an amazing job every time he cuts your hair. He still does the old school razor /​hot shaving cream finish. Dave is an awesome guy and an even better barber.
If you’re looking for a great cut, Dave’s is your place.

A few years now, and nothing but consistently good, friendly service from Dave. A top notch barber shop, Dave takes good care of his customers, young and old. Dave has more great reviews that don’t come up on the Unilocal front page, but they are nothing but good reviews!

Years ago when Paul and Woody sold Canal Barber Shop, I tested quite a few of the local barber shops to find a replacement. By far, Dave is the best! Highly recommended.

Went in to Dave’s this afternoon. He is a great guy! I am very satisfied with my hair, and will definitely be in next time! In my opinion he is way less expensive than he should be! 12 bucks for a great cut.

Good haircut at a fair price. Dave and his shop are strictly old school, and I mean that as a compliment. I used to go to a salon before I discovered Dave’s Barber Shop. I was paying twice as much for a haircut that wasn’t as good as I can get at Dave’s place. Recommended.

My husband really likes this Barber shop, he says it will be his new go-​to haircut shop. Dave was really friendly and has a lot of experience. It is also very fair pricing.

Came here because of the comment Neil R. left. The shop is very nice and traditional. Dave made an effort to make good conversation with me. He was very polite.
As for the haircut, he lined me up real well. He has 30+ years of experience! Actually, one of the better haircuts I’ve gotten in a while!
The price was very fair!
I’ll be going back next time I’m in the area!

Great guy.
I went in, explained how my hair was thinning and how I wanted it to look. He ended up doing a great job going a little shorter than expected. He gave me a sharp look rather than let it stay long for a comb-​over which others have done before.
He’s a great guy with lots of character and for 11 bucks I was very happy.
Also he uses shaving cream and a straight blade to give a very crisp look around the edges.
I’m usually tense around hairdressers but not this guy. He’s been cutting hair for 20 years and it shows.
