Miranda’s Thrift Shop

I visited this store for the first and ONLY time on February 24^th this year. I had been interested in a set of wingback chairs that had been sold but I was told I could add my name to a wish list and they would contact me if anything came in. Today I noticed another set of chairs posted to Craigslist THE VERY NEXT DAY however no one contacted me. When I inquired as to why, I was informed that they «rip out» the page with your information on it after two weeks if they don’t get what your looking for in that time. That they SHOULD have called me to let me know they were removing my name. Okay. That’s terrible business, but what’s even worse is they DID get what I was looking for apparently that evening or the next day! I wasn’t impressed with the store itself and now I’ve been left with a very bad taste. I will not be doing business with this establishment which is sad because I make quite a few purchases a year. I live south of Turlock and am now traveling all the way to Sacramento for my purchases.

It’s a small store, but you will find a lot of quality items inside. I just recently bought a nice solid oak dining table with chairs, and a leather sofa there for a great price. The owner was there and was very nice. The people working in the front are always very helpful as well. they have a little bit of everything in here. From home décor, to dvds and electronics, kids toys, furniture, clothes, tools, literally just about everything and there is always something new. Definitely a spot worth checking out more than once. My family and I will definitely be back for more !

A good place to buy. An abysmally horrendous place to sell.
They have a pretty solid selection of items for sale. The quality is higher than most second hand shops, but the price is also higher. Low on the ick factor in comparison to other second hand shops I’ve been to.
I’ve also tried coming here to sell twice. Seriously, don’t waste your time. Just go to Salvation Army, get the tax write-​off, and preserve your self-​worth.
Both times the guy tried to low ball me. Like really, really, really low-​ball me. Like take the lowest low-​ball number that you could imagine for your stuff, and divide by 10. Because that’s what he’ll offer you.
And the buyer was rude. And he wouldn’t negotiate. And he treated me like he was doing me the world’s biggest favor for even being willing to look at my things.

Beginning to end, I had an excellent experience with Miranda’s. My son just moved into his 1^st post-​college apartment and we managed to find a great couch and dinette set for an awesome price. The customer service was polite and attentive. Will definitely return!

Went in the other day looked around there prices were too high for certain things such as bakeware they were charging $ 10 for a cake carrier when they cost the same price as if i bought it brand new at walmart or target there was no AC It was scorching hot! Ridiculous! Never again returning

I have been a regular customer for the past few months despite the high prices and lack of professionalism when I decided to bring in some merchandise to sell during their buying hours (my first time). I was lowballed with $ 65 for $ 200+ worth of products and saw the proof when they posted most of it on their instagram with prices. I don’t understand why ripping off a regular is good for business but they lost mine. I suggest buying online, it’s a lot cheaper than wasting your money here

This was my fifth time going here. I love this thrift store. It’s very different from your other ones, their stuff is always cleaned and organized so you can see everything, no digging. I love thrift store shopping and finding those buried antiques I love to add to my collection and this is one of those awesome «hole in the wall» places that I want to stick around forever. They get new furniture every week it seems like, nice furniture too! The price is right here, I recently just bought a bunch of DVDs from here and no scratches, no skips. I finished watching all of them and not a single one was damaged, they come in great condition. Love this place, and I will be getting my movies from here. I Recommend going here for anyone and everyone! They have tools, sports items, toys, clothing for every age, movies (lots of different formats), music (many formats), shoes, games, electronics, furniture. They got it. Check it out.

Exoensive and small. Went to go find a pack to carry, something I didn’t mind if it got ruined. The pack that was in the best shape and was tattered was $ 42. I thought it was over priced. Not a very large selection of clothes either.
