Sequoia Property Management

I rented one time from this property management. It was the first house I shared with room mates. One room mate decided to move out less than one month into the very first month of our lease. We found out from the property management that he put in his notice which was fine. That’s their job. What was not ok was when we called to find out what exactly was going on, the the woman we spoke to on the phone threatened us saying, «Well as soon as we get the police reports all of you are out of there!» So we asked what she was talking about because there were no police reports on any of us. She said that she knew what we were doing because the room mate who put in his notice informed her of whatever it is we were up to. Again, there were never any police reports on any of us. Rude and extremely unprofessional. A year after I moved out, the people I shared the house with contacted me and said they needed my signature so that we could all be taken off of the lease. I hadn’t lived there for a year. Either they forged my signature, the property management is just careless and didn’t actually check the identity of their tenants, or they renew leases without new contracts being signed. Awful.
