Vision Garage Flooring

Curtis was easy to work with getting my quote. I wanted something a little different for my garage floor and was happy with the price he gave me. We had a few snags getting started but the work got done and looks beautiful.

Working with contractor is not easy and Vision Garage flooring gets 5 star from me for outstanding workman ship, being on time, courteous and doing a great job. The garage floor looks excellent and I highly recommend their services.

I would not recommend this company! Do not use. We’re having major issues with our floor. Main issue right off the bat is they don’t fill main joints of floor. This is my third garage floor first time using vision flooring and I’ve never heard of this! Second our floor is very rough and foggy areas where clear coating was incorrectly applied. Third issue our floor is maybe a year old and a dollar size spot has chipped off showing me how thin of a coat it really is. I wish I went with the company that did my moms flooring for only $ 200 it’s day and night the quality of work. I wasted $ 2,000 and every time I walk in the garage I’m upset.

Having experience in overseeing construction and real estate development, I obtained three separate proposals from three known Orange County companies specializing in floor refinishing and coating. It was close, but I decided to go with Vision Flooring for a commercial project. I worked closely with Curtis and he was helpful in reviewing the job and making helpful suggestions. I needed three separate types of finishes (white, gray, and granite) for my purposes. Robert and his assistant did the preparation and coating. They worked hard and efficiently. As luck would have it, we were in the middle of heavy December rains, very unusual for Southern Cal, but they did their best and kept to the schedule and were able to complete everything on time and as planned. Just days later, we hosted a large event. Guests were impressed with the results. Curtis and Mike were both responsive and definitely take pride in their company and the results. The work definitely transformed the space and I am glad that I finally got it done.

The work was basically fine but I did have to have them come back and fix some things. Overall, I found their business practices uneven and the finished product really could have used an additional coat of sealer.

I love my Epoxy Finish Garage Floor and it was delivered was exceptional service. Epoxy is the way to go especially in LA where there is constant dirt on the ground, it is so easy to hose down to keep less dirt from entering into your home. I priced out 3 companies and not only were the best price, they also answered their phone (sounds silly but you’d be surprised), timely in their arrival for appointment, pricing quote on the spot (and fair), exact in length of time from start to finish, and started right away. Curtis is excellent in explaining and delivery! Highly recommend this company.

I am a professional Manager of Facilities and use the best contractors in Orange County. The following is my personal opinion: After qualifying a few other contractors, I chose Curtis and Vision Garage to do my garage at home. I went with a granite finish. The high attention to detail and excellent installation resulted in a beautiful job. The only issue I had was when the floor didnt seem to harden as fast as was promised. When I called Curtis to tell him, he did not answer. I called him 2 more times without a call back. That is why he only received 4 stars. The floor eventually hardened perfectly and the price was very fair for the work and the warranty provided.

I was initially reluctant to pay any $$$ for a garage floor. But mine was a bonafide eyesore, something really had to be done. And I’m so glad that I did.
Felt like we were in good hands from the beginning. Curtis was very prompt to touch base. My initial inquiry was returned same day. & was able to provide samples/​quote/​contract offer that same week.
An added pearl: professional/​friendly office personnel. They were available to discuss payment options & organizing/​confirming start dates.
I have to say that the final results were in a word, PHENOMENAL. I anticipated good work, but the results were much much better than expected (I almost cried)!
My only challenge was trying to visualize the colors on the ground. He has ~6″ x 6″ swatches, but you have to get creative trying to picture it on your garage floor. He does have photos on his website for some colors, but not all. I think it would have been easier to decide with photos of entire flooring for ALL colors. But, for now, I added some pictures of the «smoke» finish. Luv luv luv!
Will see how the flooring pans out in a few years, but so far so good! Will definitely be using his service for other homes in the future!

Pros:

–granite-​look epoxy garage floors look amazing; very shiny and thick epoxy chips.

–reasonable pricing
–5-​coat system (including 2 clear coats)
–warranty and details of service are in the contract
Cons:
–Nothing major, but there were a couple of small areas that needed additional epoxy. They missed a couple of spots, however, they were quick to remedy the issues to my satisfaction. Like I said, great customer service.

The garage floor looks real clean n shiny after they came and did their thing. Very happy with the results n color. Though we originally wanted to go with the «granite» look, we opted to choose a solid color for a few hundred less n I’m glad we did.

Needed to get a garage floor epoxy coated– the floor looked like it needed more than the usual prep work so I figured it was worth contacting professionals.
Called a bunch of different places, Vision Garage Flooring had the lowest price, was pretty clear on what they would/wouldn’t charge me for– as well as what would/wouldn’t be included in their work…
Sucked it up, decided to go with them after their sales manager (Curtis) came over and gave a complete estimate after seeing the garage and the work it needed…
Had a few communication SNAFU’s but they started on time and had it all done on time, Chris (I think it was Chris) and the other installers were very, very good and clearly very experienced in what they do…
We’ll know in a few years how the floor actually holds up!
