California Rainforest

I have a complicated garden with lots of unusual tropical plants and micro climates. I have gone through several gardeners who couldn’t figure it out. It’s the kind of thing where dozens of leaves have to be individually trimmed. It’s also something I’m proud of and particular about. California Rainforest has been doing my gardening for close to a year, and I can say without reservation:
(1) The attention to detail is impeccable;
(2) having a horticulturist in your garden every week is lightyears beyond other gardening services;
(3) the company is honest to a fault, and the price is very reasonable for the quality of work.
When guests come into my garden for the first time, they almost always say, «Wow!» That is because of California Rainforest.
I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone who cares about their garden and wants detailed attention from a certified horticulturist.

Talk about excellent customer service. Jerec is extremely professional and friendly. I had my «exotic» backyard manicured and had all of the sprinklers replaced or adjusted. Jerec also replaced several shrubs and relocated several birds of paradise plants. To top it off, as he was getting ready to leave he diagnosed a leak underneath the sidewalk, which he will return to reapir! I hughly recommend California Rainforest.

Jerec is just phenomenal!!! I recently purchased a house that came with a concrete slab as a patio. After having the patio cut and resurfaced, I had a dream of adding a beautiful tropical type garden with a natural feel. Considering the «soil» then consisted of hard sand/​dirt (into which I could barely dig an inch) I didn’t know if this was even possible. I found Jerec through Unilocal.He came over the next day, listened to what I wanted, and then created my vision. We did get bids from other landscape companies. Many wouldn’t even come see the space as it wasn’t a huge job per se. And those who did wanted outrageous fees ($ 5000 for soil and a sprinkler system not including plants). Jerec’s estimate was shockingly reasonable.
Within less than a week he started planting and about a week later left me with a garden that leaves me speechless. I’m serious. It could be in a magazine!
Jerec has continued to follow up and make sure that I haven’t killed anything and that all is well and healthy. I now consider him a good friend! He has even helped me with other parts of the garden and my boyfriend and I put in a koi pond. Hiring him is prob one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

Jerec helped transform our yard into our own tropical paradise! We wanted our backyard to look nice for a party and Jerec was able to work within our timeline/​budget and worked very hard each day. One of the things that sets Jerec apart from other landscapers is his passion and enthusiam for his work. He is very knowledgable of many different plants and trees and made great suggestions based on our needs and the climate we have at our home. He added color, height, focal points, etc… We have received many compliments on our backyard thanks to Jerec and will continue to reach out to him for future projects/​referrals.

I recently moved to a house after several years of being a condo girl. Jerec took on the task of transforming my yards. All I knew for sure is that I had ice plant everywhere, and that I did not want any of it anywhere. He has lots of great ideas, and always listens to mine. His is the grand plan, but somehow he graciously figures out how to incorporate the results of my plant buying splurges. He keeps track of everything, and knows what’s needed where and when. If it weren’t for Jerec and his ambition, I’d probably still be wondering what the hell to do with all my yard!
