Beautiful gallery! We had an original drawing appraised and received excellent service. I had originally contacted an art appraiser in Santa Barbara that was very pushy and pricey. I am very happy that we ventured down to Orange County. We had an excellent experience at Chemers!

Top notch quality and customer service. I was in a hurry to get my custom picture framed, my first original painting, and they were able to help me right on the spot. Two beautiful women with brown eyes helped me. It was an experience like heaven. If I ever paint again or need a frame I’m going to think of this place first. They have a huge selection but even on my budget they made it work.

Recently attend a show and enjoyed the reception along with the wonderful Blues Music provided at the Enderle Center. After purchasing a Wonderful John Sawyer Landscape Painting, we enjoyed dinner at an adjoining Malaysian resturant. All in all a great night. The Gallery staff was very helpful in the selection of a frame, and informed me that if I didn’t think the frame fit in with my hanging location, I could bring it back for exchange. I really felt they wanted me to be happy with my purchase.

We have been customers at Chemers Gallery for decades! What a wonderful little gallery with a great variety of artists’ works on display. They change the shows every couple of months and bring in work done by many very good artists — not just paintings, but sculptures, jewelry, and a real variety. Prices vary from modest to pricey for the largest and best. Every December there is a show including a carefully chosen selection of new children’s books with stories and artwork on the pages — many of the originals by the artists are on show, available for purchase. Our grandchildren have paintings or fine prints hanging in their rooms, all purchased at Chemers and very appealing even to older children and adults.
Chemers does framing — very finely done, with a large selection of different frame stock, matting, and even fabrics.
The shop is run by Karen Raab and a staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. I am happy that they make donations to charities every year, sponsoring some events that introduce the patrons to local organizations that do good things for the community. I enjoy visiting Enderle Center where Chemers is located — plenty of parking and good restaurants nearby too.

This is a top-​notch gallery. They do framing, and they also have terrific events throughout the year. I like that they have events that appeal to adults, and children too.
