Went here for lunch and had the lunch special which includes a pita wrap, seasoned fries, and a drink for $ 10. Ordered the beef kabob(hanger steak) wrap as it was recommended by one of the wait staff. It was delicious! The beef was cooked just right and the pita wasn’t too doughy. Definitely try this wrap if you decide to come here. The customer service was excellent as they answered our questions and provided popular recommendations. Also, they continually checked up on our table to see if we needed anything. The only issue we really had was not all of the items on the menu were available to order. We wanted to order the Tri Tip wrap and Lamb burger however they weren’t cooking those items for lunch.

I ordered on eat24 for pick up. I waited in line for what felt like forever, but was probably about 10 minutes because it was lunchtime. When I got to the front, the cashier said he didn’t get my order, even though I had the confirmation page. I asked what my options were and he said you can place an order and it will be 20 – 25 minutes. He didn’t apologize for the miscommunication or offer to make mine right away, nothing. I ended up having to go through a drive thru.

Came here for a workday lunch and was happy to see that seating wasn’t an issue. It was busy but not packed, which is exactly what I like to see. I got the pita wrap combo, which was a falafel pita wrap with seasoned fries and a drink. It was delicious! The falafel were huge and cooked perfectly, not greasy or dry at all. The real star of the show was the pita bread – it was amazing. I could eat the pita on its own all day! I’ll definitely be back for dolmathes and the banoffi.

I must’ve driven by GL a dozen times before I decided to try them. They are literally walking distance from my house and I love Med food but it took a friend asking me to go there with her for me to try it out. They have a great menu and the prices are almost too cheap for what you get. The food is fresh, well cooked and just downright delicious –way better than you would expect for a fast casual concept. The staff who works the counter is always super friendly and helpful at explaining anything you’re not familiar with too. Everytime I go back I am more and more impressed with them and have recommended them to several friends who also fallen in love with them. :)

Great food. Not as affordable as the strip mall location would make you expect. Service friendly but not very attentive.

The food and the service was just ok. Nothing to really rave about but it was decent. Not sure I would go back. It’s a little overpriced for the portions. Nothing really special about this place.

My fiancé and I had this spot for lunch yesterday and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!!! The food was delicious and came out quickly. There was nothing left on either of our plates lol. She got the chicken kabob plate & I got the chicken shawarma pita. So good! The roasted pepper hummus was very tasty. The service was also great; we brought our puppy and the guys brought out a bowl with water for him to drink. I def recommend eating here for the food and service!

By far they are the rudest people to deal with! Every time I order something it wrong and how dare I challenge them… Don’t ask for delivery they always have a reason not. Never this place again until they adjusts & become a little nicer

After numerous chances, hundreds of dollars spent here, I officially dislike this place. As in «immensely dislike» this place. Every. Single. Time. we have ordered from here, they have done something wrong, messed up an order, delivered cold food, made the same meal inconsistently. I have called and talked with an individual who was said to be the«manager,» and this character decided to act arrogant and argue with the customer(despite their forgetting an item off my order which was pricey and delivering over an hour late). I wasn’t asking for anything free, I just wanted what I paid for. Why the attitude? The recent order placed was a chicken kabob meal and a chicken kabob wrap(we have ordered this on numerous occasions from here) and what we received was something else(a type of chicken we had never ordered before with extra seasonings, etc.) My husband and I both recognized this immediately and have had enough of this place and their shady tactics. The food was also cold when it arrived, as usual. The garlic sauce was full of some sort of liquid and we basically thought they were giving us old or bad food. I mean, what businesses do you know that try to pass off food that is not what you ordered? The joke is on you and on your business model considering you will be losing future profit based on your shadiness. I do not recommend this place. In fact, I will never order from here again. I have never had a single positive experience ordering from here, and I do not know why I even tried for so long and invested so much money on this garbage food. Burned gyros, plates half full, wrong orders, missing items, cold food, passing off food as a «kabob» when it is obviously not, watery garlic sauce, burned vegetables(as in black, charred), one day dry dolmas, and then on another, watery dolmas(inconsistent), the list goes on and on… every single time something has been wrong. This is the final straw. I am not sure why there is no quality control. Is the owner even aware of the staffing problem here? There is clearly an issue from the service down to the food preparation. It is really okay to call a customer and say we ran out of what you ordered, we are behind and running late, we are sorry we forgot your dish and will bring it over since you paid for it(instead of launching a massive attitude and then asking if I want what I paid for. Yes I want it. I paid for it), or how about, can we offer you another dish, we don’t have enough to serve(rather than giving me a few chewed up pieces of burned gyro). I am never being suckered into ordering this garbage again. Unsolicited advice to the owner: Hire new staff. All of them. Hire cooks, cashiers, managers, who actually care about your business and about quality. Hire people who are not argumentative and actually care about doing a great job and preparing great food.

We loved the Grape Leaf. It was Saturday night(and Yes they have weekend happy hour) and the place was quiet. That worried me a bit, but we proceeded. We got two of the sampler platters and our group of 6 killed all of it. The Shwarma and meats were outstanding! Also enjoyed all of the sauces. To top it off the banana desert was out of this world. We went to a show right after our visit and two members of our group wanted to immediately return to Grape Leaf for more grub. Didn’t happen, but we’ll be back again soon!

Was expecting to love this place like I love Daphne’s, but unfortunately they fell WAY short. I’m surprised by the good reviews. I ordered online and used a promo I had through Eat 24… I’m REALLY glad I didn’t pay full price for this lunch, I would have been even more bummed. My food was ready super quick and the guy who helped me was a total doll. Everything is very clean inside and my food was waiting and hot. I ordered the mix schwarma(half chicken and half tritip) which comes with pita and two sides… I picked seasoned fries and babaghanoush. At first glance, I was thinking«man that’s a skimpy portions of meat and an even skimper portion of fries.» The tritip was ok, but it almost seemed like I was getting the last remnants of the day because they were the most pathetic pieces I’ve ever seen. The chicken was even worse. I got like the crispy bits that were left over and they were DRENCHED in oil… wish I would have taken a picture. I don’t leave many bad reviews, just honest ones and I honestly can’t even believe they served me this. The fries had clearly been sitting all day as they were luke warm and SO soggy. There were maybe 20 of these tiny, floppy fries. Yikes. The babaghanoush was the only saving grace to this meal… it was damn near perfect. The sauces served with the chicken were done well also… the tzatziki was as it should be(although that’s kinda hard to fuck up) and the garlic sauce, although, I didn’t really taste garlic, was very flavorful(mostly lemon). I can’t say I would return here. Sorry :(I expected way more from this place. The quick and friendly service is the only reason I have this 2 stars instead of 1 honestly. I’m totally the odd man out on this one it looks like!

Good: great tzatziki Not so good: not real doner. It’s grilled, tastes good, but ITISNOTDONER. it’s too dry and by definition today, burned. Real doner is not spiced and grilled. The fat is spiced and it rotates on a spit and melts on the meat. It’s also NEVERBURNT. Bad: roast pepper hummus tasted sweet and barely like hummus. There was also a giant clover of garlic I bit into. You walk in and order, get a number, and get a drink and food delivered to your table. Even the fountain drink. I wasn’t told I get tzatziki sauce with the combo so I made the mistake of ordering a lot of it as a side. Food tastes great but quality control is obviously non existent. Service was ok. The place was clean. This place has 5 star potential but so many culinary mistakes gets a generous 3 star for me. This is only because it’s a non franchise and OC restaurants usually blow.

Looking for Mediterranean food in Tustin and don’t feel like fancying up for Zov’s? Hop a block over to Grape Leaf Mediterranean Grill(literally the business complex behind Zov’s). A clean, modern set up inside, this is a pay first place where you put your order in and they bring your food to your table. Prices for platters are about $ 2 more than similar fast casual Mediterranean restaurants in Orange County but the quality here is the difference. Portion sizes are generous but not overwhelming if you order an entrée(comes with two sides of your choice). For lunch, they automatically knock $ 2 off the menu price for entrée orders, which is stated on chalkboard sign on the side. Chicken Kabob — Large chunks of chicken breast meat, seasoned well and grilled just right, with some char on the outside but tender and dripping with juice on the inside. Very moist and tender. Served between two grilled pita bread halves. It should also come with garlic spread… If not, then just ask for it. Highly recommended. Hummus — Creamy but not watered down on flavor. Loved it. Roasted Red Pepper Hummus — This was only okay to me, I preferred the regular hummus better. Mediterranean Salad — Mixed greens with tomatoes and red onions tossed in a tangy vinaigrette. The salad was fresh but didn’t have any wow factor. This salad does not have olives, feta, or garbanzo beans, not that type of salad. Seasoned Fries — These were good and they give you a lot. ***Free Fountain or Iced Tea drink with Unilocal check-in offer*** It took me a couple of years to finally discover it, but so glad to find a great Mediterranean place to hit up for my lunch breaks. It’s a couple of dollars more than other places($ 10 – 12 for entrees during lunch, cheaper prices for the wraps), but the meats are prepped well, everything is fresh and they don’t skimp on portion size. If you are around the Orange/Tustin border, it’s definitely worth a try.

Sadly they have really lazy employees that lie to you because they don’t feel like driving down the street 3 min. I ordered the delivery this time and I was willing to wait the estimated hour. And then an email was sent saying they were so busy they had to push my order to 2 hours wait. I just went in and they weren’t busy at all. There were only two tables filled and all three were standing next to each other just talking. So rude. Don’t offer delivery if you are just gonna be a dick about it. Oh and the girl who rang me up seemed annoyed with me for coming in. So what do you want me to do? Just quit if you hate your job so much. It is sad because I saw another review on here like mine and the manager assured her that it would be different. Sorry it isn’t.

Unilocal Check-In Offer: 1 Free Fountain Drink with purchase I came here for my lunch break from clinicals. They do have daily specials, which I highly recommend in taking advantage of. I got the chicken kabob entrée, which comes with your choice of 2 sides. I got the Mediterranean salad and hummus. The hummus was delicious! However, I wouldn’t say so for the salad. It tasted dry with the dressing; I guess I’m not a fan of it. But the chicken was flavorful with the garlic spread and pita bread. Prices are kind of steep compared to other Mediterranean places I’ve been to. Parking is super easy and the workers here are nice. Overall, a good place to stop by for a quick meal.

LOVELOVELOVE this place! We ordered take out one night and the gentleman that picked up the phone had the most pleasant voice! We ordered 2 entrees shwarma for him, chicken kebab for me, with tabbouleh and red pepper hummus. Everything was DELICIOUS. The hummus was flavorful and definitely had a kick to it. Definitely a repeater!!!

My friend and I were looking for something filling and refreshing after hiking Peter’s Canyon and came across Grape Leaf in my list of bookmarks. Grape Leaf is located in a plaza with other restaurant’s such as Nine and Nine Thai and a Hawaiian BBQ place. It’s very modern and tidy inside with plenty of seating at both booths and tables. The menu is written above the ordering area and you place your order, pay and seat yourself. The main dishes are kabobs served with two sides of your choosing that include mediterranean garlic potatoes, tabbouli, mediterranean salad and others. I ordered the chicken kabob plate with roasted red pepper hummus and tabbouli as my sides. My friend ordered the steak kabob with the garlic potatoes and red pepper hummus as his. We also ordered the falafel appetizer to share. Checking in will get you a free soft drink. I had the unsweetened passion iced tea. Our falafel arrived first and included 4 balls on a bed of greens with fermented chilies, cucumber tomatoes on the side. The taste of the falafel was like none I’d ever had before. The interior was green and I had to wonder if they were made with chickpeas at all. I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about them but began to enjoy them and appreciate them outside of my preconceived idea of how a falafel should taste the more I ate them. They also tasted great later on that day as part of my dinner. The red pepper hummus combined with the tzatziki sauce that was served with my chicken kabob plate proved to be delicious toppings for my chicken that was moist and tasty in itself. I enjoyed the tabbouli as well but can’t comment on the generous heaping of pita bread included with my dish as I didn’t have any. The pita was very warm and soft and my friend left no piece behind. He enjoyed his steak kabob and from what I could tell it looked moist and juicy. I had a bit of his garlic potatoes and loved that they were loaded with garlic and were very tasty. Our portions were generous and we took half of our meals to go. Our servers were friendly, checked on us a couple times and were very quick with service. I did feel that the prices were a bit steep but noticed that they have lunch specials of which I will likely come back and take advantage. They also have a happy hour with wine and beer if you’re looking to pair your meal with a drink. The food and service here are solid and I appreciated their variety of side dishes, appetizers and entrees.
