This place is so good. My favorite stop for cheap and delicious tacos. I always get their crunchy chicken tacos with the beans and rice combo, which come with chips and a drink, all for around $ 7. So good. Actually, I think I’ll go for lunch.

Check your order before leaving! We have ate here for the last 3 years pretty much every tuesday for their taco tuesdays. Even though they have horrible parking and raised their tacos prices… we have been faithful patrons… until tonight. Time to look for a new taco place. Third week in a row, they have over charged us, skimped on the rice & beans & or all together forgot our order. It’s wasn’t intentional for sure but they are so busy now, I think they are getting sloppy. Still great food but be aware for orders beyond 8 tacos… you may or may not come home with everything!

I really love coming to this place for tacos. The best is their taco tuesdays! However, their tacos are not very big. I would probably need 4 – 5 to be full. Their chicken tacos have good seasoning, as well as their carne asada. The specialty about this place is their fish tacos because you can’t always get fish tacos at any taco stand. The fish tacos at this place are especially fresh! The crispy exterior lets you know that it was freshly fried and fried well. The interior of the fish is white and soft. Very quality! Add on the white sauce that they have and some cabbage and salsa on the side and it’s pretty much straight from heaven! The restaurant itself is pretty small. Not a lot of space but I think they are trying to expand. Their restroom is a little ways outside. The cashier is friendly and helpful and they have a little salsa bar where you can choose between red spicy salsa, pico verde, and mild salsa. They also have lemons and sliced radishes. Pretty much self-serve!

If you want fish tacos this is the place to go. My family and I normally ordered the family platter for $ 19.99… and this means it includes the following: 12 Tacos(choice of 3 type of meats or fish) 2 beans 2 rice 4 bags of chips Unlimited large grilled chiles This is a steal!!! There’s 4 of us sharing this meal and we always have leftovers… For those who don’t care for fish their carne asada is very good too. It is a very small hole in the wall… But their food is larger than life itself!!! I’m hungry just writing this post!!!

Only ordered guac and chips and I was served after 3 people that ordered after me at the register with bigger meals. There was no apology. The guy didn’t care that I had been waiting patiently. Will not return. People like this don’t deserve business. There are plenty of great tasting restaurants nearby just drive the extra 5 min. Not worh it. Only plus was the girl cashier, who was very helpful while ordering and explaining the menu. The rest of them should go find a new career. Cooks, thank you for all the hard work and great food you pump out. How is a non social person/rude ever speaking with the customers? It blows my mind. Now that I’ve tried what the chips and guac. Chips were stale. Guacamole was painfully salty.

I like crunchy tacos. My usual go to was taco bell, I know… but I like what I like. We went on Sunday 430pm. Ordered quickly and got food quickly. I like their crunchy tacos over the soft tacos. For fillings I like the carnitas or al pastor. $ 6 special gives you a tall boy beer and 3 street tacos or 1 larger taco. Lots to choose from… I’m coming back for Taco Tuesday!

Hole Mole has become one of our boys favorite places for Mexican food. The big guy likes the fried fish tacos which are pretty good. There are large chunks of flaky cod and it wasn’t overwhelmed by the batter. Our little one likes the breakfast burrito which comes with avocado, bacon, egg and cheese. It’s simple but prepared well. The street tacos are pretty good, not spectacular. The pozole, which are available on weekends only I believe, are also good. The restaurant has limited seating inside. There is a patio area next to the street with no shade so it’s not ideal with the street noise and direct sun. Overall it’s a place we go when we’re near the area but nothing worth driving a long distance for.

Love Mexican food? Then come here NOW! I was so impressed by this little mom-and-pop type joint! I loveeee Mexican food and I’d have to say this is pretty authentic. My friend and I came here on a Thursday evening around 7 ish. It wasn’t super busy. They have dine in and also take out. First you order your food and then sit down. The lady at the counter was sooo nice. It was our first time their and she was extremely accommodating and showed us pics of items we weren’t familiar with. They have a huge menu and plenty of options to choose from. Their seafood variety is huge I LOVEIT! I got a quesadilla with steak, 1 shrimp taco and 1 fish taco. Everything was so delish! I didn’t even finish all my food because it was A LOT! The quesadilla was ESP gigantic! My friend got a FajitaRito and papa nachos which are just fries with a bunch of stuff on them. The papa nachos was a huge portion as well. There is inside and outside seating. The outside was really cute but it was a chilly night so we opted to sit inside. There’s not a bunch of seating so not sure how it gets when the place is supaaaa packed! The parking is shared with other stores in the complex. It’s not a huge parking lot, but do-able. The bathroom is outside. It’s not the greatest bathroom so if you can hold it, I would hold it: /I had to go really bad though! Overall, very clean restaurant and deeelishhh food! I will for sure be back to try more of the choices!

You guysssss, I’m in love. Like true, real, deep love. This place is just down-right amaze in my book. Food quality is legit, prices are ridiculously good and it’s fast + easy. Similar to Long Beach, the location is small and the parking lot is kind of a mess, but it is worth it. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Get like me and take it to-go. Still yummy after the drive from Tustin to Orange in rush hour. The fish taco melts in your mouth, you never want it to end. The grilled shrimp tacos has nice kick to it. The potato and bean tacos are super simple little 2 biters. Give me all the fish tacos! I shall frequent this joint often.

DONOTCOMEHEREONTACOTUESDAY if you are a newb. We tried to come on a Tuesday and it was hellish, so we left. But we did return on the following Friday, since I had wanted to try it out so badly. We went back to the counter a total of three times to order more tacos. It wasn’t because it was the best necessarily, but the ones we picked the first time ended up being a grab bag of good and meh tacos so we decided to give the restaurant a fair chance and try them all! We started off ordering pollo tacos but she gave us carne asada instead. I decided I would just eat the carne asada ones so we did. They were meh. We ate the Al Pastor and was pretty impressed. The carnitas were also good. She said the fish tacos were their number one seller so we went back and ordered that. Meh. Decided to try the carnitas again and actually order a pollo this one. The pollo one was just over seasoned and I don’t remmeber if there was actually any chicken in there. Alas. Overall this place was a good one, can’t beat finding really good street tacos that isn’t in the middle of the ghetto. I’m looking at you, King Taco.(Seriously I thought I was going to get shot trying to eat some tacos in downtown.) We’ll be back, but still not on Taco Tuesday, and just for the Al Pastors.

I’ve been wanting to try Hole Mole for the longest time. Luckily, Taco Tuesday is always my rationale to try new taco joints. The tacos are pretty decently priced, ranging from $ 1 – 2 depending on what you get. Being the seafood fanatic I am, I took advantage of the seafood tacos and got the fish and shrimp. Fish Taco($ 1.19 each): fried fish with a crispy, yet fluffy, exterior, that wraps around the succulent, juicy piece of fish inside. So absolutely delicious. It comes with sliced lettuce, salsa, and this sauce(tastes similar to tartar sauce) that really brought the whole taco together. The portion was rather large as well considering the amazing price. Shrimp Taco($ 1.99 each): similar to the fish taco, but instead with shrimp. I liked how fresh the seafood tasted, really got large pieces of shrimp that were also juicy inside. I loved this and recommend this as well! Definitely recommend checking this place out if you want to look for amazing food for great prices. The shop is small, similar to a shack setting, but it’s clean and compact. Food is amazing, service is decent, and parking is not difficult at all as there is a parking lot right next to the shop!

My beau and I have a standing tradition of Taco Tuesdays and he found this place on Unilocal so we decided to go here for dinner. We got there around 6:30PM and the restaurant was already packed.(We didn’t have a problem with parking though.)We really should’ve just gotten it to-go but decided to eat in instead. Since it was Taco Tuesday, Hole Mole has several items on their taco menu(carne asada, fish, al pastor, chicken, carnitas) for $ 1.19 each.(The fish taco is normally $ 1.69 and the rest were normally $ 1.39 so it’s not a significant discount but still really cheap.) We ordered 8 tacos(2 fish, 3 al pastor, 1 carnitas, and 2 carne asada), and a side of tortilla chips. Back to the reason I said we should’ve done take-out, after we ordered, the food came out pretty fast but seatings were scarce. The place is small, it was packed, and there people lingering after they’ve already finished eating. Y’all, come on, really?! Anyway, we got our food and ended up sitting at one of the tables on the patio. The tacos were pretty good. They were on the smaller size but definitely filling. They definitely didn’t skimp on meat. My favorite was the carne asada. I thought it was very well seasoned. Least favorite was the carnitas. Maybe we got a bad batch but I thought it was tasteless. Everything else was in between. They were good but didn’t have the wow factor that carne asada had. I’d highly recommend getting there early. We left around 7 and the line was out the door and there were no parking left.

My meal was just ok but the fish tacos are always consistent! So it has been a few years since I’ve been to a Hole Mole. I used to go to the one in Long beach on a few lunch breaks and living in North county at the time, there wasn’t a Hole mole around me so I fell off going there. Now that I live in Irvine this one is close enough to revisit the brand: D So I scaled the menu heavy before going in LOL. So many options besides the fish tacos, I wanted to try one of everything HAHA. Can’t do that in a one person household: D Somehow I still over ordered, but hey I’m the queen of repurposing leftovers. I ordered a fish taco, shredded beef taco, carne asada taco, green and red chile enchiladas and chicken pozole(ONLY on the WEEKENDS.) So waited for the feast and I was on my way home. I mainly wanted to focus on the fish taco and pozole since I like making breakfast enchiladas for my mornings. Well I’ll stick to Whole foods enchiladas from the hot bar because these were made sloppy and barely sauced and cheesed. Unless I had a side of enchilada sauce, I couldn’t make them better even in the skillet :(grrrrr. The shredded beef taco was good, could of had more crunch to the shell. The carne asada taco was aiiiiiiiiiight. The pozole was fresh but lacked some seasonings. I hooked it up on the stove top and crunched tortilla chip within. The fish taco was the best thing I had hands down. Never had a bad fish taco from this brand. Overall the meal was not mouthgasmic but passable. I’d go back to try their breakfast items and I’m a huge fan of spots who have breakfast anytime :)

The ambience is nice and casual so you can walk in with shorts or stop in during work hours. Their potato tacos are crunchy, savory, and cheap. I highly recommend their quesadilla(just be prepared for cheesy and meaty) or one of their bowls for a healthy alternative. They offer a full salsa bar and have awesome grilled peppers with salt and pepper for free. The employees are very courteous and even walk around to ask if you needed anything else despite this being a «order at the front» place. Check it out!

I like this place a lot. Taco Tuesday and the line goes to China. I had a great time and waiting with a bunch of friends makes the wait feels only like 5 min. On taco Tuesday the Tacos are $ 1,29VS regular days $ 1,49 so you basically only save 20 cents. That’s nothing. Good strategy to make some good money. A lot of seats inside and outside.

Hmmmm, they are definitely doing something different here. It seems like they’ve hired someone to handle their marketing because it looks a lot like personal branding. I also didn’t know they had six other restaurants. Even the website is revamped… **taco Tuesday $ 1.19** Service: — Meh. Nothing spectacular about the service, but the food is where this restaurant shines Food: — The fish tacos are so so good! You cannot beat the price of taco Tuesday. These are actual tacos and not small street tacos. I don’t know if they just had a good night or management kicked it up a notch(I will let you know if anything changes) Overall: Recommend! The unlimited limes from the salsa bar is a good enough reason to give it a try

3 ½ stars Taco Tuesday! Tacos are cheap and hit the spot. But tbh, the deal for Tuesday isn’t that great, you only save 20 cents a taco(50 if you get fish). Tacos are 1.19 on Tuesdays when they’re normally 1.39. Came on a Tuesday around 8 and it was SOO crowded. First of all, parking was terrible. I had to circle the lot a few times before I gave up and decided to park across the street and just walk over. Even as I was looking for parking, I could tell the place was packed! There were even crowds of people outside. This place is so small and my goodness, it was so crowded… It took at least 20 minutes just to get a table and at least 30 to get my 7 tacos. There was seriously no space and everyone was standing around waiting for tables. I felt so awkward because I didn’t really have a place to wait without getting in everybody’s way. I got the carnitas, al pastor, asada and fish tacos. My favorite would probably be the carnitas; it was so tender and had a good amount of flavor. The others were good but I wasn’t mind blown or anything. Probably won’t be back at this location any time soon to avoid the parking and the crazy crowds. Imma try out the new HB location next time.

I came for their Taco Tuesdays and ordered Ensenada fish tacos and Al Pastor. I noticed the prices were only discounted 50 cents or so, but I didn’t mind since it was cheap regardless of what day it is. The tacos were really small(3 full bites). All three didn’t quite fill me up, but didn’t leave me hungry either. The fish tacos were good. The fish was flaky and had a thin, light, crispy outer shell. The pickled jalapeños on the side were awesome! I actually enjoyed the Al Pastor taco more than the fish, surprisingly. The pork was packed with flavor! As I left the restaurant, it started to get packed, so expect a wait. Parking can be a little tough to find, but once you do find a spot, make sure you try their Al Pastor tacos with those jalapeños.

I think I have been here a decent number of times to give this place a rating. Every time I come here, it is not packed but it is also not empty. And I’ve been here both on Taco Tuesdays and on other week days as well. This place has a good deal for tacos, but for taco Tuesday, it is barely a few cents cheaper — I don’t understand why people go crazy about it. Asada and pollo tacos are somewhat flavorful. I don’t eat seafood but all my friends were impressed with the fish and shrimp tacos– they did look quite appetizing I must say. I don’t think their tacos are anything special though. You can definitely find better places in Santa Ana or if possible, drive up to LA for some real tacos. I must criticize the service here. I ordered 2 chicken tacos and and got al pastor instead. Note* I am allergic to pork. I told them if they could change it and they did but I’m upset at the fact that they didn’t apologize– they didn’t say I’m sorry or anything. Rude much? This place is great if you want tacos in general or are hungry because the food is inexpensive and comes out fast, but don’t come here if you’re expecting legit Mexican tacos because you will be disappointed.

Definitely a hole in the wall place but this place gets so packed! The parking lot is madness because it’s so small. I decided to check this place out on a taco Tuesday, so that might explain the crowd of people. As we left the line was out the door! Quite a dinner rush. The taco Tuesday deal is $ 1.15 per taco. Which is a good price but my boyfriend also purchased a beer which we thought was $ 1 off but this deal is excluded on Tuesdays so beware! We ended up getting 8 tacos, 1 soda &1 beer for $ 15. We tried the fish, chicken, and al pastor tacos. The fish taco was way too over battered and overrated. The chicken tacos were good. They were all on the smaller side so I would suggest getting a few if you want to be full. They do have a self serve salsa bar. The salsas were alright not too spicy. Overall this place is good but I would probably not go out of my way to come here just for tacos
