Ordered an ortega beef sandwich with pasta salad. Pasta salad was OK. The sandwich was hastily put together even though I was the only person in the store at the time. They took NO pride in making the food. They under micro waved the sandwich the cheese was not melted. When asked how it was, I told them terrible the manager and the cook could have cared less. For 12 dollars I could have gone to the other sandwich shop nearby What a disappointment. I ate a few bites and asked for a box to go… will give to dog… maybe. Manager should have cared more about his customer“s satisfaction. I can’t believe that they can screw up a basic sandwich. Go across the way to the other eatery. Would like my cash back for sure. They were too busy laughing and telling stories to take care of making a proper sandwich. Went in about 415 pm on June 92016

I ordered a ham for a party and I was going to pick it up on a Saturday. The website and phone recording said they were open until 6 so I swung by around 5:30 to find the store closed. They aren’t open on Sundays, so there was no ham for the party. Honeybaked Ham really let us down and there’s no excuse for screwing up your own business hours. Would not ever go here again.

It’s the holiday season, likely this places key time of year yet the foods good but far from great service. From phone order to pick up it was doubtable. From the info given on multiple calls trying to order a simple sandwich plate for a holiday party and got told they don’t make such a thing. Hang up call back a couple hours later after finding one on there site. Next person on phone said they do and it would be ordered. Go to pick it up on the day of the party and magically they can’t use a gift card. So I have to ask them to manually enter it. Three people later they do and still do the wrong amount on the amount applied to our total. Was not worth the argument at the 15 min mark of frustration I just wanted to leave so we paid and left. Probably won’t be going back even though the food was decent. The roast beef was not the best, turkey and ham was solid flavor. Cheeses were average and great for a party.

Prepurchased a honey baked ham and came to pick up at scheduled time to find a single long line for purchases and pick up. Would recommend they organize a faster system for pick up. Will never purchase from this honey baked because this type of service is unacceptable. From past experiences at other honey baked stores I know other honey baked stores have a separate line for scheduled pick up and lines were much shorter.

Here for the ham. Or rather the ham bones. Big old bones, lots of meat left on, and probably good marrow, all calling out to me…“soup…soup”. One cost $ 8.50, the other nearly $ 10. You know you want some. While I am impressed with their house made bean soup, $ 6 only buys one serving. I still need to make my own.

I love the actual Honeybaked Ham as we get it during the holidays for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. However, I’m writing a 1-Star in hopes that the Honeybaked CORPORATION will update their technology. I went into the store to redeem a coupon they had emailed me for signing up for their HoneyBaked Rewards program. They will give you a week to redeem it and today was the last day. When I showed it on my mobile phone, the worker there said that they cannot accept mobile coupons and that it must be printed. I then thought, ok, they don’t have a handheld scanner. Which is fine. But, there is a barcode NUMBER that can surely be entered in the system, right? No. They cannot do that either. When I asked why they cannot enter the #, he just said they cannot. He then proceeded to tell me that if they accept mobile coupons, it gives customers a way to redeem the same mobile coupon at OTHER HoneyBaked locations. This is why they only accept PRINTED coupons and SNAIL-MAIL it to Corporation in order for it to get logged and recorded. What?! By the time they SNAIL-MAIL it to Corporation, customers could ALSO go to OTHER HoneyBaked locations to give out another PRINTED coupon! Their logic is so flawed and it’s just mind-boggling that with the tech age we live in now, they don’t have a proper system in place. I’m sorry, HoneyBaked Corp, but get with the times and accept mobile coupons. Or at least give a reason that can’t be argued.

In and out quick. They are organized and friendly. I got a trainee and trainer. They were very helpful.

Came in for a special and gotta say this company has gone downhill if they think overly salty ham or salty dry pressed turkey is anything miraculous. But the sides were really bland! Sweet Potato Soufle? There was nothing sweet about it. I just tossed it.

Their food is usually good, but they need to figure out a more efficient way of serving their products — I am standing in a long line for more than an hour just to pick up a turkey. They don’t stay open late either. Next year I will try something different.

Their items are expensive. That being said, you get what you pay for. And I come and stand in line every year before Thanksgiving just like hundreds of people. The reason is that their slow-baked honey baked ham is fantastic and Thanksgiving wouldn’t be the same without it.. not to mention the several subsequent days of enjoying leftovers. For that privilege, expect to pay about $ 50 for the humor sized 6 – 7 pound hams and north of $ 80 for their larger hams. They charge about $ 7.35/ lb if I remember correctly. You can also buy delicious side dishes for about $ 8.00/ piece. They are better than most people make at home but I usually buy only 1 – 2 per year just for convenience so that is one less thing to worry about. I’ve had their cranberry sauce, gravy, dressing, cole slaw, green beans. All uniformly delicious but about twice much as if you make it at home from scratch. Plus you don’t get as much of the homemade aromas from cooking at home or the satisfaction of going all Martha Stewart or, in my case, Emeril LaGasse. I usually like to roast an injected turkey and make my favorite dressing and side dishes, then augment with a Honey Baked Ham and 1 – 2 of their side dishes, which I surreptitiously transfer to one of my own serving dishes before disposing of the evidence(their packaging). No one ever knows and for those who question how a particular side dish suddenly appeared from no where, I simply tell them I planned ahead and then make sure they get no gravy. You could do a fantastic Thanksgiving from this store for $ 150-$ 200 and do absolutely no cooking. But that wouldn’t be any fun. The beauty of HBH is that it can make your home made meal even better.

I can only speak for the lunch not the ham. I wasn’t aware that they actually served lunch, but it’s good to know that they do. I had the pastrami sandwich with the cheesy potatoes. I could tell the bread for the sandwich wasn’t fresh, but the pastrami was good. The cheesy potatoes were awesome, but shouldn’t be the star of the show. For the lunch I can’t say I tasted a lot of freshness, the bread and salad. The sides were great so I’d you picking up for Thanksgiving it would worthwhile.

Their lunches are amazing. They take a little time to make so set aside the time if you’re going for lunch. It’s well worth the wait. Great amount of food for the price. The people are always so nice.

Honeybaked is usually most people’s go-to place during the holidays. I like to come here for lunch when I’m craving a ham sandwich, more so, a HONEYBAKED ham sandwich! You can get a ham sandwich on your choice of bread, a mixed green salad, and a side dish with a soda or water for $ 9. In addition, you can buy ham by the pound at $ 10.99 a pound. I also ordered ¼ of pound of ham to take back to the office. There’s a variety of lunch combinations, like salad and soup, soup and sandwich, or just a sandwich. In addition to ham, they have turkey… but the name is Honeybaked HAM. They’re known for the Ham, so that’s what I normally get. It seems each Honeybaked is run differently. This place is definitely different than the one off Tustin and Katella. So be prepared to be flexible if you normally visit a different location.

Good ol predictable Honeybaked Ham. You only come at Christmas or Easter. You find the end of what seems like a mile long line. You chat with new found friends until you reach the front where the samples await. Everyone was friendly. The wait was less than 30 minutes. And the ham has been the same for over 30 years. It’s refreshing to know what to expect these days.

The ham is awesome. The service was not what we expected. There was a mix up with our prepaid and preordered ham so the company said they were sending the order to this store. We called to make sure it was there and Rosa confirmed it was there. We went to pick it up and were told to wait in line. So my dad waited while we tried to get our thanksgiving together. He got to the front and said it was not there then he was asked to pay for a new one when that was already paid. He was upset but not irrate. Told to call the manager and security came out instead! Make your paying customers feel like a criminal is not good customer service.

Let me start off by saying my family doesn’t usually buy premade turkey, but this year we decided to try it out because they were having thanksgiving at my place and we didn’t want a burned turkey. So my mom called honey bake on Monday to preorder the turkey to ensure we got the one we wanted, she mention to me the guy on the phone was all over the place so she called the next day Tuesday to make sure they got her order correct and everything was in order. Fast forward to Wednesday, I had to pick up the turkey because everyone who was coming to our dinner lives up north in the Bay Area. Well Wednesday I showed up to honey bake, at 5:30, the time they told my mom they would have the turkey ready to be picked up. Let me just say the line was huge, it forreal looked like a Black Friday line at Walmart. I wasn’t mad or anything though I understood I mean it’s the day before thanksgiving its understandable. However one thing that got me a little irritated and I was confused by is why people who preordered there turkeys or hams had to stand in line with people who were just walking in to pick one up without a reservation. It made me wonder why do they even take preorders in the first place it seems like there’s no benefit in doing it. Well I finally got up to the cash register after 1 hour of waiting to find out the turkey my mom ordered on Monday and she double checked about on Tuesday didn’t even get shipped to the store! I guess they had a back order or something. I really wanted to get mad but then again, what’s the point there not going to magically pull a turkey out of a magic hat. Plus I felt bad — so many people were yelling at employees already. In the end the girl told me they only had smoke turkey; I was pretty much stuck with it, I wasn’t going to go to the store last minute to try and buy one. Thankfully my whole family liked the turkey(or thats atleast what they told me) I personally think it was a little dry. Overall they would of gotten more stars however, honey bake knows that this part of the year is extremely busy, yet there costumer services needs improvement. I know stuff happens that we can’t control, such as the back order however we PREORDERED the turkey, why couldn’t they call my mom and the other people who preordered that specific turkey to let us know it wasn’t shipped in. Horrible costumer service, don’t think we will be back.

This is a last minute Thanksgiving tip for all you slackers. They are not open on Turkey day, 11⁄27 is your last chance. I showed up today and there was a line out the door. The ham is good from 7 – 10 days in the fridge so buying it early won’t hurt. I got a small ham for 6 people plus some other sides and it was about $ 50. Also, if you’re coming here looking for a deli sandwich you are SOL. They are not serving their lunch specials or anything like that this week, but you can buy sliced ham to munch on in the middle of the night. Parking is plentiful but it is on a busy street so get ready for some driving nightmare, especially around lunchtime or rush hour.

Ham — 5 stars Customer service — minus 5 stars I called in to reserve a small ham. I’ve been calling in for hams at various Honey Baked Ham locations every year for the past 20 years, from locations in Seattle to Santa Monica to Lakewood. I called here and was told they don’t take reservations for a small ham, it’s first come first served. «But I’ve always reserved a ham and then come pick it up on the day of my reservation with my reservation number. That’s the way all your locations do it.» «It’s first come, first served.» So you want me to drive all the way to your store for a ham and I possibly won’t get one and will then have to scramble to find a ham elsewhere? So it’s like a gamble? Ham roulette? No thanks. You lost my business at this location. I immediately called Honeybaked Ham in Lake Forest who were more than happy to reserve a ham for me.

*** very impressive breakfast … wow! *** i stopped here for lunch yesterday and dined-in. after viewing the entire menu, i asked if breakfast was still available to order … it was 1pm at the time. waitress said«yes, of course», so i got eggs benedict. omfg, the béarnaise sauce was awesome as well as the honey baked ham that replaced the canadian bacon. i had no idea they had such a great breakfast alternative. they even served up an extra portion of ham on the side … hmm, now this is some tasty protein loading for just $ 7. *** 5-star for being yummy, economical and quick too. ***
