My wife and I had a wonderful time walking thru and purchasing several things that came from the old country(Ireland) and with some wonderful Irish-American Joke and Happy St Pat’s Cards. They do have a full section-selection of religious products. A very helpful staff, no pressure to buy, we were allowed to browse peacefully thru out the store and hobby area. This place was like finding a jewel in hidden oyster. We read about this place in the OC Register a few days before St Pat’s day and we decided to take a trip to Old Town Tusin Historic District to take a look at this place and go have lunch across the street at Quinn’s Irish Pub. While there, we also met with Johnny Kelly who is the owner of Kelly’s Men’s Shop, located in the same parking lot.(John’s Sister also owns a Beauty & Barbershop next door(pleanty of off street parking) Wife and I, both had a wonderful day here. We will come back again. (Warning: They only accept Cash & Checks)

There is a hobby shop in the back that I don’t think many people know about. They have model rockets, plastic model kits, science project kits, etc… I was looking for something to start my young son and daughter on and he helped me find a couple of things I think they are really going to like. I like that the owner seemed to be really passionate about getting kids hooked on hobbies early. Very personal service. Feels like a throwback to an earlier time. I’ll be going back.

Kelly’s is a great store for Irish things and anything holy. It is a family owned business, kind of like«Cheers» where everyone knows your name. they don’t accept credit cards… but friendly helpful service and selection like no other. kind of like a mini trip to Ireland.

I went to Kelly’s Card’s & Gifts today looking for a couple of Mass Cards for some recently passed away friends. First of all, the proprieter, I believe the son of the owner didn’t know what I was talking about and was very gruff and surly. We were there at almost 12 Noon, the lights were not on and I felt he didn’t want us there! I’m sorry to hear about your Dad, sir. But I think he would be very unhappy with the way you treat your customers and I don’t think I will be back. You might want to sell the business because you are not the retail type! PS. Also, we saw more action from you asking about our parking space than you were in the store trying to serve us.
