Max Muscle of Tustin

Came in to get some drinks. The gentleman working was very pleasant to deal with. Had a great attitude and was very welcoming. From what I was able to see, they also had a good variety of products.

Two Words: Max Prices
This place is okay as supplement stores go. The staff is very knowledgeable about nutrition, supplements and bodybuilding… so they are easy to talk to. Definitely a step up from places like GNC which are over-​priced, do not offer that many quality products, and where the staff are generally clueless.
The things I like about Max Muscle are the staff and the variety and depth of product offerings l. You can find pretty much anything you need in the way if workout supplements. The things I don’t like are the prices and the fact that they don’t put the prices on the products. The staff will tend to push you toward certain products that they may well believe in, but are invariably quite expensive for workout warriors who use a lot of stuff.
If recommend this for people who are just getting into bodybuilding or exercise, because the people there will take a lot of time telling you what various things do for you. I would not recommend it for experienced lifters who know what they want. It is generally much better to buy online. I only come here for «emergencies» when I’m running out of something I need and don’t want to wait a few days to order online.

Recently purchased supplements that cost over $ 100. When I got home, I noticed they had forgotten to give me the most expensive product. The clerk at the store treated me like I was lying, and the owners totally blew me off. I would not recommend this store to anyone for any reason.

All these guys do is recommend the supplements not selling well that they need to get rid of, or the supplements that they’re trying to promote. Know your stuff when you get in there !!

I’ve been a customer at Max Muscle for 3 years and come here for most of my supplement needs. Whenever ever I walk in I am greeted by friendly staff and always feel welcomed. I like this place because they give free fitness advice and the staff is very knowledgeable. Most other supplement stores will try to sell you products based on their «broscience» but Max Muscle does no do that, the products they sell you here are cGMP certified and are backed by science. I feel like a lot of customers might be deterred from buying their products due to relatively high prices, but Max Muscle will price match to
. If you decide to go, ask for Branden, he always goes out of his way to make customers happy.

I just came from visiting this place and I typically don’t write too many reviews, HOWEVER, when I saw all the negative comments below I really felt compelled to write a response…
This place is AWESOME. Period. People who seem to complain about the prices are probably too cheap to want to pay for quality supplements. I’m by no means a rich person (I’m a student lol) but I had no problem forking over a couple hundred bucks to get a massive amount of great, quality, supplements. I know for a fact that if I were to have gone to GNC or nutrizone I would have spent a great deal more money for the the same great supplements or would have got their products (which are trash).
The guys who work there really know what they are doing/​saying and they are really willing to spend the time to help you reach your goals. I walked in about 30 minutes before they were closing their shop and the owner had no problem sitting with me for well over an hour explaining many of his products to me. I already had some background on some of the products that he was telling me about so when he spoke I knew that what he was saying carried a lot of truth behind it and that he wasn’t trying to just sell me a bunch of products. I felt no pressure to buy anything and whenever I asked how much something was I got a straight forward, pressure free response. Bottom line is that this place is awesome and the people who wrote negative comments below are probably cheap bums who don’t care to give their bodies quality.
If you want experienced staff who are patient and extremely willing to help you then shop here. I drove about 45 mins (from bellflower) to get to maxmuscle in tustin and I will continue to do so whenever I need any protein, pre-​workout, bcaa’s, etc… This place is perfect.
On top of everything, I got a shirt, samples, cups and literature for free. Plus, if I would have bought my supplements from GNC I would have probably paid over $ 300 bucks. …enough said.

I wanted to like this place, but it’s hard place for me to like.
Prices are not posted on the shelves or on the products. You won’t know the price of anything unless (a) you have bought it before, (b) you ask, or © you find out how much it is when it’s time to pay.

I was recommended to Max Muscle by my Personal Trainer who has been a loyal customer for years. The Rep, Brandon was extremely knowledgeable about every product. He made sure to listen to what I needed and recommended the ideal product to meet my needs not the other way around. He even wrote down instruction on the product to remind me how many times through out the day I needed to take it. The prices were very competitive and he gave me additional discounts. Before you know it, I walked out with everything I needed including complimentary items: 2 Max Muscle t-​shirts, 4 shakers, and packs of Intrabolics. Max Muscle you had me at Hello!

Do yourself a favor and don’t go here. They rip you off. I purchased a supplement for 89.99. I found out that suggested retail on this is $ 59.99. How anyone can charge $ 30 over list I don’t know. I also found the same product on amazon for 39.99. Buy online. Don’t go here
