I have a four year old son with some sensory issues and he was very nervous about his first dentist appointment. Dr. Mike was recommended to us by my own dentist and we couldn’t be more pleased with our first visit. He took the time to explain every thing to my son before he did it, and went very slowly, allowing him to sit on my lap for the first few minutes of the visit. My son was able to get a cleaning and leave without any fear. He didn’t have any issues, so they gave him a certificate, a toy prize, and some stickers along with a toothbrush and floss. He left feeling so proud of himself. I have already recommended Dr. Mike to friends and neighbors and will continue to do so.

Can someone say WTF? When I called after having my 3 year old referred here to have some fillings done, I asked if they do full sedation if necessary and was told that they did not. I was very concerned about this as I want the procedure to be as stress free for her as possible however I got curious and decided to ask more questions. I wish I hadn’t. When I asked how they did handle a wiggly child if necessary (expecting to get an answer that included using gas) I was told (in not so many words) that they basically resort to tieing them to a board, rendering them immobile and forcing them to just deal with whatever pain they cause. DISTURBIIIING. My sister said it sounded alot like what went on at Guantanamo. I agree. There is no way in hell I will be using this dentist.
