Metro Appliance Repair fixed my LG microwave oven. They are an authorized LG repair shop. Steve came out assessed the repairs, gave me an estimate and returned another day to make the repairs. The company is professional, returned my calls promptly, the final charges were as quoted, and they were on time. I recommend them.

This was Steve’s second time out to our house. The first time was last year when we noticed our refrigerator wasn’t getting cold anymore. This time around was also due to a refrigerator problem. Our same refrigerator was leaking water. Both times, Steve has done a great job! He knows his stuff and is always very easy and pleasant to talk to. He’ll give you a fair price and even offer to come back out to your house within the month for free if you notice something else going wrong. We called Metro Appliance on a Sunday and I was very surprised that they called us back within the hour. I don’t think he comes out on the weekends but he was able to accommodate my schedule and come out the next day! Make sure to check for discounts (craigslist ad), like this Unilocal one which he applied to my quote!

Great service and technician. Had a problem with a dishwasher and got fixed pretty fast with very reasonable price. I will definitely go back to this company later whenever I will have the same problem in future!

Hi, there! I had to call to many appliance repair companies and finally ended up with Metro. So, I had an issue with my Sub Zero fridge, it wasn’t cooling the way it should. So, called up these guys and had technician Steve coming over for estimates and diagnostics. Problem was with thermostat. Steve gave me reasonable price, said he need to order the new thermostat. So, Steve back after two days and fixed it in very quick and professional way. Yeah, price level is average but it really worth it. Thank you, Steve. Keep up the good work!

Had problem with dishwashers in my two investment properties. Steve came on time, diagnosed both of them, gave reasonable price quotes. He repaired 1 of the two. My tenants are very happy with his service, and save my time. Thank you Steve.

I had a microwave issue and an oven door always locked issue so I went to the Unilocal to find a good company. I called this one due to the five-​star review and Steve came to do the diagnostics. He manually adjusted the spring to make the oven door no longer lock and made another trip to bring the tool needed to move our the oven/​microwave for diagnostics. I had to make multiple calls to confirm he will be able to come to diagnose. Finally he came to tear parts out, and told me the issue is in the mainboard, that he told me that has to be ordered and will cost closed to 400 just for the parts, the total charge would be close to 600, and I put the deposit. Since then I had no phone call at all. Waited for over one month and I kept calling him about the part’s arrival and he then told me the issue is not the mainboard, but some type of sensor. Waited that long, I had to get my microwave fixed, I tried so hard to just get this company to agree upon an appointment so that they can come to fix it, and it was appointment set days after we called and agreed. On the day of appointment, I expected a phone call from Steve that he agreed will call a hour before he comes, but can’t get any call. I had to call and was informed that he was working a gas leak on a different customer as an emergency service call. And he told me he was not sure if he can make it that day — hell, if you can’t be sure if you can come, don’t ever make the appointment with me. I end up cancel out his service and went with another company, who showed on time and everything was fixed in an hour!

So what’s the deal here? After waiting at home from 2 to 5, which was the service window given out by the company, nobody showed up and nobody called me to explain why this is happening? Even after I called to ask about it, the lady said she would track down the technician, so that was it, no one cared to call me back!!! They just DITCH you for no reason. I will give it a negative 1 star if I could. I don’t know how it got the five star rating in the first place. I guess Unilocal rating is not something to be trusted any more.

Had a problem with my dishwasher and looked for an authorized repair service on the internet and found Metro Appliance Repair in Orange County. Called Metro and talked to Steve about my problem. Set up an appointment that day. Steve came out and fixed my problem which turned out to be a clogged overflow hose. He only charged my the $ 45 service fee because the fix was so quick and easy. I would not hesitate calling Metro again for my future appliance repair needs. Honest company, good service, great experience.

Had a problem with my dishwasher on Saturday. I called a couple places on Unilocal and they were charging as much as $ 100 just to come out and proposing Monday. Then I found Metro repair on craigslist and Steve was able to come our in 2 hours on Saturday to check out the issue for $ 35. It wasn’t a straightforward issue and he had to come back on Monday. He was able to locate the issue which was a control panel issue. He called around and found a place that had the part and came back later the same day and fix the problem. I found that the price was reasonable too (my parents were telling me to get a new dishwasher, but I stuck with Steve and paid much less). Steve is a a straightforward trustworthy repairman.

Needed work on my dryer, dishwasher and garbage disposal. Got timely and professional help at a reasonable price. Recommend to my friends? Yes!
