This is a frequent spot for us, but not one of our favorites. The issue I have with Ruby’s is that their prices have gone way up. The cheapest meal on the menu is close to $ 10, and that is for a hot sandwich(burger, tuna melt, etc.) and fries. Even the prepared salads dishes are $ 12-$ 13. If you want a malt or shake that is another $ 5.00+. The value just isn’t what it used to be. In their defense the place is always immaculately clean and the shakes and malts are as good as anywhere in town. The service is pretty good, but can be at times a bit slow. If you go early you can have no wait, but if you hit rush hour the line can be 15 minutes. Good place for kids and seniors(special prices) but so-so for adults.

I wasn’t impressed in this place in the least. They need to check out some East Coast diners to get a clue what a diner is. All they are is a glorified burger joint. It does look nice on the inside with Coke, and railroad decorations. It was very bright. I ordered the BBQ burger, chocolate shake, and iced tea. The burger comes with unlimited fries. The burger wasn’t to bad but the BBQ sauce sucked. It was sweet and had a nasty taste like a Big Boy burger. Once served nobody came to my table until long after I was done eating. My tea glass was empty half way through my meal and more fries might have been nice. I sat waiting for then to bring the check. I think they got a clue when I was tapping my credit card on the table. They asked of I wanted more tea. I said no, I would like to leave. This is twice I was disappointed with Ruby’s. The other time was at the Shake Shack. I won’t be back.

I don’t know what happened to you Ruby’s but the last two times we’ve eaten here it’s been a real disappointment. The service is terrible, I’d give negative stars if I could. The food was ok, it’s Ruby’s it’s pretty basic. We typically eat breakfast here on the weekends when we sleep in because there is never a wait — can’t really say I’m surprised. On both of our last visits our drinks were never refilled and there was an obnoxious fly that would not leave our table. After reading a few other review it looks like this is a common occurrence, with refills and those pesky flies. If I knew I’d sit drink less for 30 minutes while I ate French toast I would have rationed my ice tea. You need to be better.

Our server was McKay. She was fantastic! I got a Cobb salad and it was great. The bf got a burger and he enjoyed it, as well. I love the atmosphere of this place. Overall, a great experience.

Had a great time at this location. The wait never seems very long and the staff is always enjoyable. The food is nothing amazing, but it is very good. Come here for the atmosphere and for a change of pace from your normal burger fix. Definitely a great place to enjoy with your family and friends.

Great breakfast but they changed menu and got rid of my potato pancakes! The manager Dean is an awesome people person and makes everyone fill welcome that came in!

In regards to «To Go» Orders. This has got to be THEWORST Ruby’s. We frequently order takeout for our lunch meetings and not once have they gotten our order right. We’ve told them they mess up, yet they still never get it right. Literally, don’t order if you have ANY modifications. If you ask for no mayo, you get Extra. They write it correctly on our to go boxes, but then you look at the food and can SEE that it is clearly wrong. I know mistakes happen, but every time we place an order we Expect it to be wrong somehow. It doesn’t shock us anymore. Yet we still order…

So sad to see how different the menu is. It used to have so many good choices. And now it’s almost all about burgers. Not a choice for my family anymore. I guess we will go to islands. Very disappointed about the menu changes my family of six won’t go anymore.

Slowest service ever! You will wait for a table forever and then wait for a server forever, then wait to just get your drinks forever.

Food was good to until it was ruined by a roach crawling on the table! Unfortunately we saw it after finishing our meal after moving an orange slice we left in the table… then there was a bug flying over our table the whole meal. Spent dinner trying to swat it away.

Had the apple oatmeal and a hard boiled egg for breakfast. Breakfast here is a hidden gem. There aren’t a lot of options in the area and this hits the spot. Francisco was hands down the best server I’ve had here. My boyfriend and I come in far too often and the service is usually alright. Sometimes a little slow, but never bad. Francisco happily accommodated all the strange modifications to the order I made and politely informed me of which ones couldn’t be done because of the way the dish was made. He also figured out how to get me a hard boiled al carte egg. I didn’t see it on the menu, so I was anticipating being told I couldn’t have it. However, he was extremely kind and didn’t think twice about it. He also came by to check on me and make sure my food was the way I wanted and even made a bit of small talk. I love a server who knows how to talk just enough to put you at ease while dining alone and doesn’t intrude. The food is spot on, considering the kind of place this. I actually enjoyed my oatmeal quite a bit. However, I think service is where restaurants in this tier can stand out. Francisco made my dining experience from me mediocre to awesome. Btw, he just brought me a fresh cup of coffee because they just finished another brew. He’s seriously awesome.

Ruby’s got it right. this is regarding kids drink cups. Ruby’s get the extra star for getting the kids cups right. First the service was friendly and courteous as always. The food is consistently good and timely. Back to the kids cups. Short, sealed tops and… wait for it. .BENDY straws so it is easy for a toddler. Every restaurant should do this.

Ambience 1(cleanliness is atrocious) Food 1(I would love to do a Gordon Ramsey on this place) simple rule of thumb, if you wouldn’t eat it don’t serve it. If you would serve this, go work on car engines. Service 1(Much closer to DMV than restaurant) It’s pretty obvious that management doesn’t really care about the guest experience here. Twice cooked fries, dirty cups, tables… It shows that nobody cares here. I realize that I was in a hurry, and we were literally across the street, but lesson learned. I was still expecting clean, palatable food, and an inkling of service. Bott line; Avoid this place if at all possible.

I love Ruby’s because whenever I come here, I know what to expect, and there are no surprises. But all in a good way. Burgers, fries, and milkshakes or flavored Cokes are the way to go here. Can’t go wrong with that. Deviate from it by ordering tacos or a salad, etc… then I can see where room for errors can happen. A Ruby’s classic cheeseburger, garlic or chili cheese fries, and a diet Cherry Coke always makes me happy and it’s easy on the wallet, too!

Great place to take the family. Of the kids get a red gumball out of the machine, they get a free root beer float with the next meal. Love the hickory burger and onion rings. Their ice cream shakes are delish. Oreo, strawberry, and holiday pumpkin are my favorites.

Disappointed with the shakes. I had banana chocolate and it had micro pieces of banana(not many) and very watered down(melting). My boyfriend had the double dark chocolate and it was regular chocolate with a small amount of chips. :(

Great food,(and closest one to us, which is why we continue to keep going), but I always feel like I am let down by my server left waiting at this location, they are ver friendly but always seem to busy to refill our sodas or check on us Most recently, on Halloween this year they had a deal they sent out via email, for a bogo entrée but ceased to mention they decided to close early that night So after trick or treating me and my family arrived with coupon to find the place closed and we went to Coco’s
