Ruby is a wonderful hostess — and her recommendations are always spot on. It is nice when someone remembers your name and what you like! The food is great — the silver spoon lamb roll is our favorite! Whenever we come we feel as though we are guests in her home — and always walk away full, happy and looking forward to our next dinner or lunch here!

Lunch buffet is $ 12.99. 2 birianis, one goat curry, one chicken tikka, kebabs, and three vegeterian(terrible dahl — an unpalatable green peas curry and a medicore palak paneer) ridiculous price — definitely not worth it! The non-veg — nothing to write home about… besides the kebabs which were relatively good The vegeterian part of the buffer was AWFUL the peas curry was terrible and so was the dahl. An extremely tiny bowl of plain lettuce for salad(ie. a bag from Costco) One small bowl of cantaloupe and a small bowl of a version of rice pudding for DESSERT(suppossedly kheer) From a seasoned Indian food critic — AWFUL and DEFINITELY not worth the price for the BUFFET. Separate order for Samosas very delicious but seriously these are CONSIDERED as cocktail samosas and ridiculously priced at $ 1.00 each. Separate order for Chicken paratha roll — very good tasting — spicy though. again for $ 9.99 not woth it considering it is not accompanied with a tiny salad or relish. NOT worth the price. Service and ambiance — very good. Relatively good food — exhorbitant prices!

The spoonful wrap is so good but not as good as I hoped. It’s definitely worth a try it’s really good! Also the lady who works there is the nicest person I’ve ever encountered in a restaurant. Gotta get it at least once.

Get the lamb paratha. Flaky crispy bread, tender lamb, and an unknown green sauce that ties it together. Sure, you may burp up the food later in the day, but it’ll only make you reminisce on how delicious your food was. Décor needs some work too, but I’m not an expect in interior design. Vegetarian buffets Tuesday, Wedns, Thursday, buffet plus lamb on Fridays. Lamb paratha. Seriously.

Called and placed an order 3 hours ago(dish I ordered takes an hr but gave them a buffer based on past experiences) only to be told it wasn’t ready and to come back in 45… being a regular should NOT mean we get pushed to the back of the«line» cuz it gets busy. EXTREMELY disappointed with the level of service provided today.

Great customer service! The boti wrap(goat and chicken) was delicious! We also had the chicken biryani which was like home made goodness! The raita was good too! Definitely coming back!

Pretty good but expensive for how much food you get. The sauce was really good and I was a big fan of those burritos very very very tasty both lamb and chicken. Just gotta bring those prices down. I think I had 3 of the burritos and wasn’t feeling super full

We only got takeout but as others have said Ruby is an exceptionally welcoming and helpful owner who even brought out glasses and a pitcher of water as we waited for our takeout. We are definitely going to go back for the buffet next time. We got the lamb wrap and it was as amazing as everyone is saying!

Very friendly owner. Unilocal checkin scores you 2 mini Somozas. I got the wrap. Lots of meat. Very similar to the Asian pancake wrapped with meet as well. Not bad,

Loved our waitress today(i believe she’s also the owner). She was extremely pleasant and checked up on my table several times. The food? Great! Can’t go wrong with their rolls but their Karahi was really good too. They have the food bit nailed to the t! The restaurant is a bit on the smaller side but heck, id eat outside for this quality of food and service.

Good place and excellent Nihari and boneless chicken is another good dish. Excellent Briyani and now the new place has good ambiance and good customer service.

This place is literally a small mom & pop shop that is run by probably them both. What I mean by this is that although the food was pretty good, the service was awfully slow. There was one waitress and I believe one cook. We came in during lunch time and there was just two other tables of two people versus my one table of six. The two other tables were dining in for the buffet, while we were here to try their wrap. We had to literally wait over 30 – 40 minutes for the wraps! It was just pretty frustrating because the wrap seems so easy to make yet it took so long! I’m sorry, but I don’t think I would go here during work lunch hour because it took just too long. The food however was pretty good! I wished this place was more of a «fast food» joint versus a sit down restaurant because I would honestly go here more often. My friend ordered the lamb and I ordered the goat with the paratha bread and we traded half/half(since you can only pick one type of meat in one wrap.) I have to admit that the wraps do taste as good as they look and I would definitely recommend both the lamb and the goat because they were both really really good. I would highly recommend this restaurant as a must try! I might actually come back next time to try their Buffet.

The lamb and chicken wraps are so good especially with their green sauce. The bread is a little too oily for me so next time I’ll try it with naan bread instead. The samosas are also good! The wrapper taste like wontons so it’s super crispy. And again, their green sauce is delicious.

Holy Tikka Boti Roll! Why have I never heard of this or seen this item at other Indian places? What is it? Being Asian ethnicity, I can only describe the outside of the roll as a dense Chong Yu Bing without the onions. The flakey, doughie texture and oily flavor make for a crunchy burrito of yum. What’s inside? You can get it with lamb, goat, chicken, or beef. I got the chicken tandori inside my Tikka Boti Roll and it was filled with grilled onions and maybe cheese? That’s it! Pretty simple, but packed with flavor especially with the green sauce. Is it the healthiest of choices? OHHELLNO. But will it fill you up with Indian in a burrito goodness? It sure does. This place is a gem in Tustin & very hard to find if you aren’t looking for it or passing by.

09.27.2015 I came here for dinner with my friend, to try something new in the area. We shared their famous«Silver Spoon»(aka Tikki Boti Wrap Roll) with beef and on a paratha. The wrap was definitely big enough to share, especially after having free chicken samosas and green sauce(2 pieces each). The flavor of the beef, vegetables and riata chutney all went well together. I enjoyed the green sauce from the samosas and added more to my wrap roll. The paratha was good but now I want to come back and taste it with the naan bread.

I came here specifically for the lamb parantha. It took a while for my order to come out, but it was worth the wait. The lamb is marinated well, and wasn’t too gamey. The crispy wrap was delicious with their special green sauce! I’m a sucker for green sauces, and this one did not dissappoint. The only thing is that the wrap is pretty oily, so expect that. Also, I wish they added more vegetables to the wrap. It’s mainly filled with meat, which isn’t a bad thing. The owner also gave us the free samosas with check-in. They’re small triangles and was a good snack. Overall, I recommend the parantha wrap!

This restaurant is worth the wait. Authentic, delicious, perfectly seasoned. My boyfriend and I came here for a Friday night date and were both happily satisfied with our food. We tried one goat paratha boti wrap and one lamb paratha boti wrap. Think of the best meat you’ve ever tasted and then imagine it wrapped into a fluffy paratha that is satisfyingly chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I’ve had paratha before but this was far superior. We were both in foodie heaven! We will most definitely return. Compliments to the chef!

A bunch of us came for lunch to try their $ 7.99 buffet. What greeted us first was their chalkboard outside that mentioned the said buffet and price, but as we walked in, no server was in sight. We stood around for a bit and noticed that people who were seated didn’t have anything to eat which was odd. Was the food not ready yet? True enough, the owner came out of the kitchen and told us to seat ourselves, gave us menus, and explained that there was no buffet today as the kitchen was backed up with burrito orders all morning. Why not take out the sign outside or change what it says? So disappointing! And it only gets better… We all settled for the SilverSpoon burrito for $ 9.99 with paratha bread except for one of us. You get to choose between lamb, chicken, goat, or beef but I ended going with the poultry to be on the safe side. By the look of things, it already seemed like it was going to be a very long lunch. And I was more than right. Food came out staggeringly at our table with one person in our party having his food packed to-go(without the container ever making it out). Everyone in our group was getting impatient since we had meetings to get back to. Waiting 45 minutes for a burrito is ridiculous no matter how good it is. And, if I may say so, I think it is rude and just plain and simple WRONG to tell a customer to change his/her order since it’s causing the kitchen a delay. Throw away the menu and have one big sign that says SILVERSPOONBURRITO is all you can order, why don’t you? SAMOSAS are on the house for appetizers but one each won’t appease anyone’s appetite if their kitchen takes that long. It does say you get two of those if you check-in on Unilocal so do so but good luck catching the owner/server as she is always rushing back to the kitchen. I’ve seen a group leave after being ignored for so long, customers waiting for their food or their order to be taken or for their table to be cleaned up. It certainly is a lot of waiting. My order of MANGOLASSI which was placed together with the food came out at the end of our meal. It was lukewarm, very sweet, and tasted artificial. Uggh! She didn’t charge me for it and offered to give me a cup to take it to-go. That, too, never made it out to our table, as with our bill. When we asked for it, she just verbally informed us of the price per burrito with tax and hurriedly walked away. We dropped $ 10.88 each and left with no plans of returning.
