This store is much better than other smart and finals I have been to. It’s like an upscale smart n final with groceries and fresh produce at resonance prices. They also have cases of the Mexican cocola.

Smart & Final has done a good job with their Extra stores, creating attractive looking supermarkets with a club store feel. There are things I exclusively buy here because they are way cheaper than anyplace else, so it is nice to actually do a full shopping trip here without having to hit up other stores. In many ways, this is an improvement over the Ralphs that was here previously.

Excellent brand new location. Store is organized very well. Tons of fresh produce at reasonable prices. Small organic produce section but sufficient. Great bulk foods are, lots of choices. Endless aisles of staple food items all at really low prices. Will definitely be back. Welcome to Tustin! There’s a nice touch on the checkout lanes, each is named for a local Tustin street such as Newport Av., Red Hill, etc.

This is by far my favorite store when I buy groceries. They have everything I’m looking for and the prices are lower than any other market. They have a large produce section with many organic products. I’m a big fan of cheese and only buy mine here. They don’t have a butcher, but the meat section is pretty good. Check out the section with clearance meats for added value. You probably won’t find lower prices for frozen foods, and ice cream. My favorite is the $ 6.99 roasted chicken. I get one every time I buy my groceries. I will even pick one up on my lunch break. Even after driving home the chicken is still hot. I have time to whip up some mashed potatoes before it cools down. You will never visit the store without someone asking at least once if you are finding everything all right. I have never been to a market with such friendly and helpful employees.

So pleased with this new neighborhood grocery store! Smart and Final Extra carries most everything in both bulk and standard sizes. I’m super impressed with their produce section, filled with fresh, OCD-status organized organic and non-organic fruits and veggies. I’m also loving the bulk section where you can get nuts, granola, beans, dried fruit and more. Every time I have been at least 2 people have asked if I am finding everything ok and the cashiers are always friendly and conversational. Definitely an all around A+ shopping experience and I’m super glad it is my local store! PS, their rotisserie chickens are the absolute best ever!

It is a brand new store. This used to be a Ralphs Grocery Store. I came in just to look and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of items they carry. Seemed like a mix between a grocery store and Target. It was too busy for my shopping preference but it was only the second day so lots of looky lous(me included). The store was clean and well organized. There was a little of everything, They did have some unique items that I was looking for(mrs myers cleaning concentrate, mae ploy sweet chili sauce). I would come here about once every 3 months just to peruse the store or if I needed something at Target and didnt want to do the longer drive, but not for every day shopping. I personally prefer Trader Joes(right across Irvine Blvd).

Grand opened 2 days ago where Ralph’s use to be. Look for the weekly special deals on fruits and veggies. Browse around and you’ll finds some brands that’s not available in the regular supermarket.

My initial impression is that this brand new location of Smart and Final Extra just may be the nicest one of all. And I’m not just saying that because it’s in Tustin, it’s actually really nice inside. Nicer than the one in Orange even.

Smart & Final is finally in Tustin, replacing an old Ralphs location. And it’s a… Smart & Final. Although this is in the«ritzier» North Tustin area, it’s a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Unlike you, Haggen. This grocery store is nothing special, but it’s generally less expensive than Ralphs. You’ll find a lot of goodies you can’t find at a normal grocery store. Particularly a great place to shop if you’re throwing a shindig. This will probably be my new go-to local grocery store(besides Trader Joes), as I do not like to support the giant conglomerate that is Albertsons-Safeway.

First impressions are everything and this was my first visit to any Smart&Final. I took my time to shop and learn the layout. I was told to try«their» rotisserie chicken and will definitely be getting my bird here from now on. Prices are quite competitive except for soda — make sure it’s on sale. Same for chips. Otherwise prices for produce about the same as Sprouts but they carry more that that store and more competitive compared to the other big chains. The manager and staff were all very friendly and helpful. I hope it continues as I will be shopping here from now on.
