I went on the second day of this sale. This was not worth it at all. Everything was dirty broken and missing all their pieces. They wanted 20 $ for a fisher price poppin giraffe. It didn’t work, was missing all its balls and had a big crack in it. Would make a good door stop and that’s about it. Are they crazy? Not worth going.

This sale that pops up 4 times a year is a mommy’s best friend. They have so much variety of baby and kids stuff, everything from clothing to toys to strollers and more. As a mommy of 2 i am always looking for a deal and when i discovered this sale i hit the jackpot. They are very particular with the items they accept so there is a peace of mind knowing that your getting nice quality things. In addition to the great deals and selection, the people who run this sale are fabulous. They are friendly and genuinely kind people who have cultuvated this amazing oppertunity for mommy’s to afford all the gear we need dor our kids!

A great place to find everything you need. One thing I love about these pop up consignment is they have a huge space and selection so you don’t have to go to regular tiny cluttered stores to dig through their piles. They are organized and clean. Highly recommend leaving your little one at home if you can. Went there last time with my baby in a stroller and had to squeeze through the isles with other moms with strollers like a bad traffic jam.

Oh wow, I give it two stars, only because I do t want to be mean. I came here the first day open to public on Thursday, waited outside the door to open. Had a list of things I wanted to find and buy, had such hopes for this to be good and such. But wow total disappointment :(like really. After 20 minutes of looking at what they had I went back home with my list of stuff that not only I did not find but … Oh man I don’t know what to say, I don’t want to be mean, but everything I saw was oh so way overpriced for its quality, I just could t believe it. Clothes very worn looking and faded, toys sun faded and dirty and some toys even had prices higher than they are sold for new at stores! I was like really? Are you serious? Jumpers strollers bikes … Everything not worth the price tag. Better buying it new at store.

An unfortunately high percentage of the items were in pretty rough used condition and still half of full retail price. Not a great shopping experience when you don’t want to touch things because they’re stained or look generally grimy… I think if you’re not that particular, are only used to paying full retail, and/or you need lots of things this might work for you. Or if you come on Sunday when they further reduce many of the prices by 50%, then the prices would be more in line with the value of the items. But, if you’re already an experienced consignment or resale shopper you’d do better to just go to the local consignment stores where you’ll pay the same and they’re more choosy about the condition of the items they bring in.

I waited for this sale for 2 months and it was not worth it! The minute I walked in I could tell all the items were dirty and gross. Unorganized and I thought the prices were reasonable but I can over hear mothers complaining of prices. 5 $ toy that is worth 20 $ is good price to me. I’m rating this one star due to the dirty items that I would not dare bring in my home, including the dirty mothers that made me fell like we were in a mobile home yard sale with their screaming bad behaving children and a 40 minute line to pay for the items… if you buy from here carry Lysol spray and disinfectant wipes to clean items before placing them in your car!

I’m writing this review from the perspective of a Consigner. I’ve consigned items at 4 sales and I am very pleased with the process at Up up and away. This is a pop-up store that occurs once a quarter in Orange County. They rent a large grocery store sized building, so the location of the sale moves as space is available(or not.) currently, the sale is in Yorba Linda and the building is my favorite thus far.(Good space, lighting, a Starbucks in the same shopping center.) You can sign up to consign on their website. Inputting items and printing tags is a very user friendly process. You earn 60% of the sale price and you set your own prices. You can earn an additional 10% on your sales for volunteering at two three-hour shifts. I love this perk. Most other sales don’t pay the Consigner as high as 70%. I would rate the overall experience a 4.5 stars but I rounded up. The only downside I see is that I wish they were slightly more picky with some items people bring. Most items are very high quality, but there is some junk mixed in that I think should be turned away. But maybe people but that stuff too, I don’t know. One suggestion — I would love to see a separate are for«very high end items»…like a little«boutique area» with Janey&Jack, peg perego, modella, mamas&papas etc. it would be nice as a buyer to find that stuff in a small area instead of looking through racks of cheaper items to find the hidden gem.

I love buying from consignment sales and was looking forward to trying this sale out. The workers were very friendly and personable. However, the items were not as organized as I have experienced at other sales. Everything was way over priced. I went in looking for a bumbo and found two, one for $ 35 and one for $ 39. I can go to Target or Babies R Us and purchase a bumbo for $ 39 right now. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. I also noted items that had original tags that were selling for more than the original sale price! I understand the consignor sets the prices, not the sale organizers, but WOW! I think I’ll stick with my consignment sale in Redlands.

I used to go to this place. I was so happy with the variety of product and a reasonable price. However we returned last Saturday and were so disappointed. The price is so high. A piece of girl clothes was like 7 dollars. Other clothes were as high as brand new at target and Carter’s. We saw a baby blanket with the original tag of 12.99 and this consignment tag showed $ 16. I was not very happy about this place. One very old jumper was listed at $ 70. We came in around 11 and it was disorganized. Things were all over places. There were not many people in line as it used to be in the past. I took a moment and looked up at the ceiling and noticed it was missing some ceiling tiles and it had mold on the ceiling. The cashier told us they are planning to move in august so maybe it is for the better. My recommend is don’t let your guard down it comes to price. It may look cheap but if you just pay a few dollars more for a brand new one, it may be worth it. Or check out other sales on craiglist.

Up Up And Away Kids Consignment is not a mortar and brick shop. They are a semi-annual event that hosts dozens of private consignors of baby and children’s gear, furniture, toys and clothes all in one weekend in one huge warehouse in Orange County. Millions of gently used items for sale at amazing prices all in one location. Each year the company has 3 – 4 events and the past few sales have been in Tustin at Irvine blvd and Newport Ave though the location is known to have changed in the past based on size need and empty warehouse availability. The company is run by Michelle and she helps keep all the individual consignors organized as well as run the sale with the aid of many volunteers. People interested in consigning their baby and children’s stuff log into the website and follow the instructions on preparing the items(hanging the clothes in a certain way, replacing any needed batteries…) and tagging the items for sale. Then you sign up for a drop off time when you leave your items to be sold in the warehouse for volunteers to stock the store with. Consignors that volunteer helping set up, tear down, or work during the sale make a larger percentage of their profits from their items that sold during the event. And volunteers also get in to the event early before it opens to the public. Last summer I bought a «Pack and Play» that was barely used for $ 26.00 and this year I bought a like new high chair for $ 10.00. The prices are amazing and you can get nursery bedding, cribs, rockers, clothes, even children’s books at the event. I adore Michelle and working the event the last few times I have not only scored hundreds of dollars worth of baby stuff for practically nothing, but I have met a lot of other moms in OC and its been a fun thing to be involved with… I highly recommend this consignment event to anyone interested in awesome baby gear for pennies on the dollar.
