Affordable Heating and Air Conditioning

Chris and the team managed to save me over $ 1000 after my split-​system blew in the latest power outage (thanks SoCal Edison). He was able to convince Mitsubishi to cover them under warranty, and got replacement units installed very quickly. Chris kept me fully abrest of the situation despite delays from the manufacturer and distributor. My only regret is that I wish they had a location in LA as well!

The absolute best.
We had multiple problems with our two A/​C units. One had a small freon leak, the other had a broken fan motor, and we had some insulation lodged in the main duct going to the living room (which the duct was routed all sorts of wrong, creating an airflow problem). All of that, plus neither of them had been serviced in years.
I called one place who quoted me over $ 700 for the repairs (which included replacing the fan motor for $ 300).
I then called AH&A. Chris came out and assessed the same problems, but quoted under $ 200. One of the major differences is that Chris had enough experience working with the systems, that he knew how to fix the motor. He replaced a small capacitor, turning a $ 300 motor replacement into a $ 23 repair.
The entire job ended up costing $ 168.00 (remember — the other company quoted more than $ 700).
So — five stars earned; I’d gladly give six if Unilocal allowed it.

Very professional experience. Chris was able to diagnose and resolve our issues on our rental home in order to ensure our tenants got the heat back up and running quickly. Chris even drove more than an hour away to get a part that was out of stock locally. I am a very picky person and would recommend Chris based on his stellar performance.

I am very pleased with the service I received. I called on a Wednesday and Chris came out on Friday to service my swamp cooler. I thought I was going to need a new pump and pads, but he cleaned everything out and it works great. He even went above and beyond by fixing my controller, it has been broke for years and no one has been able to fix it. The price was very reasonable. I’m very happy with the service!

HIGHLY recommend! I called this morning (Saturday) and spoke to Chris and explained how our air conditioner stopped working. He was at our house in less than 15 minutes! He was very professional, couldn’t have been nicer, and affordable! He knew what the problem was right away and fixed it in minutes. I had a wonderful experience with this company! I needed a swamp cooler installed before summer comes and I had a few quotes done. Affordable heating and air saved me hundreds of dollars compared to the other quotes! The initial quote was thorough and all my questions were answered. Upon installation there was something unexpected that needed to be replaced and affordable heating and air did not charge me because it wasn’t found during the initial estimation. They were so generous and fast with their work and ensured me that if anything was wrong they would fix it. Everything was handled very professionally and all city regulations were followed. To top it all off Chris even gave me information and helped with the paperwork to receive a credit through southern California Edison for making my home more efficient. If you need air/​heat services and you want quality work with professional customer service then affordable heating g and air is the way to go! They will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy!

Affordable is correct but not just that. The service was great, friendly, and fast. I had an issue with my Swamped Cooler. Started making funny noises and then all of a sudden go to turn in and it woke. Found out about Affordable Heating and Air Conditioning from a family member, called and explained my situation. Chris was at my place within an hour or so. He was just getting done with a job close by. He arrived and asked to come in to check the turn on switch, asked if He can get on the roof to check unit, and within minutes determined what was wrong and what needed to be done. My motor had went out. He had my size motor on the truck cause he was familiar with the area and the units used around, got it switched out, and air was flow right again.
My family and I had been having nose bleeds and headaches for days because of the heat. Landlord wasn’t any help so, I had to do something. It was nice to be about to find a business like this one to come out fast, fix issue, and it fit within my price range with me having to come out of pocket with something I shouldn’t have needed to.

Living in 29 Palms, Ca is not the easiest. Some may not even know where it’s located and for those who are curious, in the middle of no where. It is very difficult to have any luxuries. And by luxuries I mean restaurants, attractions, and most importantly a wide variety of services to maintain your home.
It is almost impossible to have good water, good electricity that isn’t off grid all the time, internet connection that doesn’t remind you of the dial up times, and especially a handy repair and maintenance professional for all your MUST services without getting ripped off.
After a while and much exhaustion of getting swindled, I got the opportunity to have one company change my perspective, Affordable heating and air conditioning. Chris was the service associate that I had the pleasure of working with. He was very professional and patient. Living out if state makes it hard to ensure my tenants that I can take care of anything and Chris made that possible. He was able to rectify the furnace issue as my tenants had addressed that the house was cold and heater wasn’t working. Chris helped my tenants not only with working around their busy schedule, but with friendly and thorough service. I HIGHLY recommend Affordable heating and air conditioning. I have made them my new liaison (contact) for all my tenants needs with heating and air conditioning.
