Well… golf in 29 Palms isn’t going to be amazing, but this IS as good as it gets here! The course is in pretty good shape right now, very green greens, and the fairways are nice. Their summer rates were $ 19 including cart, hot dog and soda or beer, and $ 12 after noon. We bought a 26 game punch card for $ 309 that we can use for a year. Chuck, the pro is awesome and teaches FREE lessons to ladies on Tues mornings at 0900, he even takes them to play multiple holes for free during the lessons, he’s also great with kids. The pro-shop has a few items and the new Sand Trap Grill is AMAZING(for 29 Palms on-base dining), Extreme Pita moved across base. I even eat there sometimes during the work week for lunch and know several people who eat breakfast there. Oh, and it’s NEVER crowded because people are used to a bad course with high greens fees, things have changed!

well let me just say that i believe this course is a little over priced for the condition that its in. $ 25 weather you walk or ride a cart… its only $ 12 on Camp Pendleton for 18 holes and a way way better maintained course.
