Customer service sucks! Walked in, no one greeted me stood there for a good 3 mins. I had to go over to a waiter to tell them I would like to be seated. Got menu, chose what I wanted and waited for my server. They all walked passed by me as If didn’t exist. I was getting really irritated and wanted to walk out! Could it be that i was alone? who knows.

Food is regularly inconsistent, and hours can be irregular. You never actually will know if they are open or not. Wait service is usually terrible.

The place was half full and the waitress was turning away customers. Understaffed and unpolite to customers.

We almost didn’t come here because of the mixed reviews, but I’m glad I put that aside and decided to give this place a try. The restaurant was near empty when we arrived during the middle of the day(one other party there.) The waiter was very attentive. He got our drink order immediately when we sat down and there wasn’t a long wait at all from ordering to getting our food. We ordered the egg rolls, pad thai, and phở. The phở was definitely the star of the meal — but everything was good. The egg rolls were on the skinny side, but were perfectly crunchy. The pad thai was as expected. The phở was outstanding! The beef was s delicious and cooked in the hot broth. I always add a little kick to phở broth, so I added some of the chili sauce on the table. The basil, lime wedges, and the mung bean sprouts were brought out on a separate plate — as traditional for phở. The raw meat was also brought out on a plate. The serving sizes of the dishes were huge. I would come back.

This is one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever eaten at in 29 palms. Within this block of restaurants, don’t even bother wasting your time or money eating here. We walked into this place because Thai Café was closed. I’m shocked this establishment is in business. Their chicken satay that we ordered was completely burnt and their pad Thai was drenched in oil. Also, if you are sensitive to MSG this restaurant’s food is drenched in it.

So this is really the place you go too if you don’t mind microwave food and hit or miss service. I’ve only eaten here four times and I try not to comment with under 6 trips, but I feel like people should be warned. The menu is long, confusing and oddly laid out. You never now what your ordering because there is so much crap written on the menu. The waitress may or may not completely understand what you are ordering.(one time I got raw noodles with soup poured over it… on a plate. I know what your thinking… and no the noodles didn’t cook with the random soup poured over it because it was on a plate!!!) They often get B ratings from the health department and the Naval hospital has them on a list of top food poisoning offenders(along with Applebees in Yucca and Santana’s) Its always crowed… which is odd. i think it has to do with their decent décor and setting(which is why they got one of my two stars) Service was exceptional slow(during my last visit we didn’t even get drinks… or water) Overall, do yourself a favor: Cook your own food or go to passion dessert or Fuji)
