The pizza was really good. It is priced ok for a local joint and the quality. We thought it was better than Pie For The People, which everyone raves about.

The pizza is decent but not exactly New York style but gah dang the service is so friendly, hospitable and quick. I’d come again just for that alone and to try something other then the pizza.

Actually a very good place, little pricey for the quality, but for a pizza place it’s good stuff. Not much else to say about it, good service and edible food.

Love this place. Best pizza around and very reasonable prices. I recommend the Rockys Special.

The calzone dough was heavenly. The mostaccioli with meatballs was a huge portion, and delicious. Service was great.

Just ordered a pizza to go last night. The wait wasn’t bad(15min) for a XL pizza plus«cheesy garlic bread». I had a $ 25 gift certificate so I calculated my total with taxes to be $ 25 plus change. When I showed up to pay my total was $ 27 even. I’m not sure what the extra charges were but it’s something to note. The pizza wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. Good amount of toppings but it was soggy not crispy in the middle. The cheesy garlic bread was A COMPLETEWASTEOFMONEY. It was literally a hot dog bun with cheese on it. No garlic taste or actual garlic bread. Overall, it was okay but I wouldn’t go back.

Older Gentleman behind the counter today was rude. Your customers are your guests and should be treated that way. Pizza dough is not freshly made and tossed. Papa Johns crust is better and that’s pretty questionable. The wings are not fried like normal wings they are baked and rubbery like most pizza places today. More than likely will not be back after today’s experience. Sad the place has great potential.

It was a long day for me, I was riding my bicycle across the country from Florida to California back in February… I had to ride from Parker Arizona to 29 Palms, that’s 110 miles that day. I rolled into town late around 9PM, and saw this place was open. I was starving, so I had two bowls of spaghetti and some garlic bread. And boy was it damn good.

This review is for the pizza only, I didn’t try anything else. I’m a New Yorker so I had expectations. When I got my two slices, they came with a knife and fork, and I playfully poked fun at this non-NY method of consumption before I proceeded to fold a slice in half and take a bite the«right» way. The proprietor and I had a chuckle about that. The pizza is a little thicker than real NY style, but thin enough to fold and have a nice crispy crust. It was a bit greasy but, what NY pizza isn’t? I just pat it with a napkin. The sauce was good too, not too sweet, and there was a good sauce to cheese ratio. The décor of the place is very«NY Pizza», that hit me as soon as I waked in and it made me smile. Not exactly«New York» pizza, but certainly close enough for this New Yorker to enjoy while 3000 miles from home.

Good pizza, salads and subs. Not so good wings or pasta. I ordered the ravioli once,… once. I swear it was Chef Boyardee from a can. Wings are soggy, skimpy, and bland. Stick with the Rocky’s special pizza and the hot pastrami. I’ve had both many times and they were always satisfying

We LOVE Rocky’s. Their pizza is absolutely amazing! Never had their subs, but the spaghetti is really good too! We’re going to miss this place when we move!

Pretty good! We just ordered a large cheese pizza, and I have to admit that it was filled with yummy flavor. :) If you’re super picky about pizza, I could pick a few things that people wouldn’t be in love with,(such as crust texture or grease levels) but overall it was a nice experience. Lots of families and children, and all their food looked really good! I’ll be back!

Thought I’d give it a try and went in and ordered their roast beef sandwich. I didn’t want it covered in sauce so I asked for it plain. Well, you should have seen this«beef.» It was unlike any normal beef I’ve ever seen. It looks like it was processed shreds of beef from whatever parts were left. It didn’t look right and it was funny tasting, which may explain why they want to put sauce over it. A large glass of soda was almost $ 2, which made it among the pricier ones in town. And when I asked I was told they won’t refill it. Not only is everyone else less expensive but refills are pretty much standard in town. The same thing at Quiznos was $ 2 cheaper and it includes refills. I can’t say anything about their pizza, which I haven’t tried, but I won’t be back for lunch and given the quality of the beef, I’m hesitant to try any of their pizza. Too bad they are the closest pizza place to me, but I’ll be trying all the other options before I go back here.

Their hotwings are nasty. I am an avid hot wing lover. I grew up on Long Wongs hot wings in Phoenix, Az. I have never seen so much fat and thick skin and gooey breading on a chicken wing in my life. There wasnt any sauce on them or much seasoning at all. They were disgusting. I couldnt eat them all.

We’ve been customers since you opened, and like many others on Unilocal we have noticed the pizza just doesn’t seem to be of the same size or quality as years ago. But my biggest complaint is the LARGEDINNERSALAD, I am sooooo tired of looking forward to a decent salad that will at least provide 3 small servings and ALWAYS getting a single size serving in a large styrofoam container where I can see the bottom in several places and that is mostly yellow(pepperochini) peppers. You are charging for a family size salad, how bout delivering one! Also, could someone from your establishment please respond to these postings?

New York style pizza??? Who made their name? I know it wasn’t someone from NY. The pizza was loaded with grease, the wings were slimy and soft, the food was over priced, the atmosphere was alright other than the kids saying they had stuff on their asses. The pizza was barely warm. The«hot» wing were just wings, I won’t go back and I suggest you don’t waste your money. And what’s with the short straws???

Worst tasting pizza ever! Atmosphere was horrible, service was horrible and food was disgusting. We will never go back. This is a definite contender for restaurant impossible. Fist the man taking our oder was short and rude. Then the pizza had no flavor to the sauce, the dough was paper thin and the toppings were sparse. And the beer mug did not stay cold. Shame on you for calling yourself a pizza place

A great place for families and Pizza! PROS: 1. Located in the middle of 29 Palms. 2. The pizza is SO good and there are many toppings and styles to choose from! 3. Prices are good. CONS: 1. Any extra sides(ranch) cost extra. But other than that this place is awesome! Staff is very nice and welcoming, and the food is great! I’m getting hungry thinking about this delicious place!
