Twentynine Palms Historical Society

This review if for the Annual Weed Show in November only–
After seeing it on an episode of California’s Gold, we couldn’t pass up visiting.
We showed up in the late afternoon on Saturday expecting a small bunch of displays on a table or so… and we were greeted by several rooms full of quirky and interesting displays of weed/​desert/​junk displays! It was quite interesting to walk around and look at all the different displays people had made using the things they have found out in the desert. Getting into the concept it was fun to see the theme of each piece people were going for and deciding if they had pulled it off well or not. A lot of people were pleasant and were very nice. It’s certainly an interesting local tradition and a fun quick stop if you’re in the area when it’s going on!
