This place was jam packed with animals of all kinds! Bears, lions, snakes, fish, sharks, elk, the list goes on and on. Took my family to this because it was free admission so I thought, why not?! My 7 year old had a great time. They also have an old fashion grocery store you can walk around and explore in. It was cool to see the old machines, products, and prices. There was a fun little playground right outside as well with a red fire truck. Unfortunately it was a rainy day so we didn’t do that. A few of the animals were a little dusty but I didn’t think it was that big of a deal, especially with free admission! Overall, we thought it was a great place and I will probably going back there again sometime while I’m here in Tyler.

Had a kid that doesn’t do museums. Really wish we could have stayed longer to read all the cards. Very worth the money and visit.

As a mom of a toddler, I’m very grateful this place exists. This place is FREE and has the best playground in Tyler and a nice small indoor animal museum for when the weather isn’t great. The playground is huge and separated into little kid areas and big kid areas and even includes a fire truck, caboose, and tractor for the kids to play on. I love that it’s completely fenced(so I don’t have to worry about my son running off) and there is a gate separating the different areas to help keep the kids somewhat contained. Tons of picnic areas and they even host birthday parties. This is one of my favorite places in town to spend an afternoon with my son and I’m happy it’s here!

The park outside is decent but the inside is full of dead animals. I guess they’re kinda cool to look at, unless you have a conscience and feel weird looking at dead monkeys set up to look like they’re playing cards. I’m not a PETA member but I probably won’t be going back. Not to the inside, at least.

Free. Tons if lion tigers bears sharks wild boars monkeys swordfish mounted to view. An old style reproduction grocery store for people that love history and old memorabilia. Cute little candy store where we picked up a coin skin cap. The playground is awesome. Fun stop for us. The map directions don’t take you to the right place it is located kind of behind the warehouse.

Pretty run-down and rusty play equipment, but my kids love playing on the old train and fire engine. Plenty of room to run and play, but that merry-go-round is a death trap. The museum is straight-up creepy to me. BUT, it does have a very interesting 1960’s vibe with the stuffed animals and strange exhibits. Okay and entertaining for one visit.

We didn’t know what to expect or a place with giant animals out front and a free admission. But we needed to kill some time on a Saturday afternoon. The museum itself is a small area with stuffed animals. The country store was cool since they had ROCKCANDY! and it was less than a dollar a stick. Lots of old memories. There is also a playground out back. I hadn’t been on a jungle jim or merry go round since I was a child it was fun running around and acting like a kid again.
