Food and service was ok nothing special. You can get the same thing at fresh for a couple dollars cheaper. Tried it won’t be back.

I went here tonight for the first time. When I walked up to counter the staff was friendly. They reached for a platter to put my tortilla on. It was caked with food in the stand. They removed that one and grabbed the next one which was also nasty. The third one they were about to use before I told them it had dried food on it also. Finally the girl reached for one way back on the stand… Was it clean? Idk… I hope so! The girl that made my burrito made it without draining the ingredients so by the time I got home. 5 min away … The paper sack was soaked through and my burrito was extremely soggy!!! Gross! Will I ever darken this business again? Nope! Chipotle has my business… Food and service is superior to this place.

This is the place to go for a burrito in Tyler, always fresh and expertly rolled. If you have any complaints go to back to Chipotle in tyler and you’ll come running back.

Been a while since I’ve had freebird. — wow it was bad! No guacamole (thats half of the vegetarian) which they didnt mention until after they were making my burrito. Tried serving me a warm beer, employees complaining that they had a bad day. Top it off with a burrito that tasted like pure salt. I did get a eventually get a cold beer though so 2stars for that. Looking out the window at the fresh Asian Fusion spot in the same center wishing I had made the choice to eat there instead!

I love Freebirds but this one is the worst I have ever been to! It is always dirty and they are always scraping the bottom of the containers to get your food out. The food and condiments are never stocked.

Had a second bad experience here today so I think I’ll give up and go to Chipotle… it’s better anyways. This is the second time they have been out of white meat chicken which is one of their major products. The employee explains to me that they have a 100 person catering order and that is why they are out. My response to that… you have a management issue. The meat I did receive was dried out and overcooked. This shows a lack of planning. Also, as we were leaving and putting our trash in the receptacle it had not been emptied and was running over. We just had to balance our trash on top and hope it didn’t fall on floor. I think the issue here is quality of management. I would suggest you just avoid until they get their act together.

I absolutely love Freebirds and eat there every time I’m in Dallas. Sadly our Tyler branch is terrible and I’m leaving 3 stars instead of 1 in hopes that it will someday live up to the Freebirds brand. The chicken is always dried out and overcooked and gross. Nearly every time I order AVOCADO on my burrito they put freaking guacamole on it (NOT THE SAME). I’ve been 5x and been unhappy every time. I wish this one was as good as the ones in Dallas, but I guess I need to drive to Dallas instead of eating at the one 5 minutes from my house.

Only my second visit ever to a Freebirds. I got the «smaller» hybrid size. It was still plenty of food, very tasty and filling. Chips are fresh, salsa tastes fresh with just the right zing. Got a brownie to go, it was yummy and HUGE. Only drawback to me was the price.

I ate here last Friday amd it was great. Again, I’m not a fan of chains, but overall i had a good experience. Its a bit overpriced, but what casual dinning place in Tyler isn’t.
