For $ 35 you get to paint a picture on canvas that a member of your group has pre-selected off the many dozens of art on the walls(none of them signed) and all the water you can drink. Being with friends all painting the same thing is nice. I will say that. You bring all your own wine, liquor and snacks and sit on the #1 Hardest Stool in America. I don’t care what you weigh; you can’t break this metal stool. You could melt them down and use them in the space station. They need to furnish soft, strong stools with backs on them. A young girl wearing a microphone shows you each step as it’s needed(for instance, she’ll say ‘first take your yellow paint and cover your canvas with it). This«artist» oversees your work. Meaning, she walks past you(50 times) and IF you have a question she answers it. You get all the paint brought to you that you’ll need(on a paper plate) and two brushes then you take your canvas home. These paintings from the wall are not something you could make a living off of selling. They look like what a junior high talent could have painted. They are not Van Gogh. I won’t be going back but it was nice to be with my friends and acquaintances and the water wasn’t bad.

I confess, I am repeat offender. However, there is nothing offending about the good times at Pinot’s Palette. One of the great things about painting here, is, you do not have to be an artist. Then, once you finish, you discover that. you are! The staff here are so supportive! Once you have experienced one night of creativity, it is hard not to come back. Hats off to Pinot’s Palette!
