Went Christmas tree shopping for first time at plantation pines! It was wonderful, they have a hayride, animals to play with, gift shop with cute ornaments, complimentary hot chocolate, fire pit to cook smores, and then you get to pick out your own tree and cut it down! So much fun! Old fashioned christmas treat! Also, I came here expecting such a nice place to be expensive, but the prices are great, they are equal to or better than most cut tree shops, we got a beautiful 8 foot fresh tree for only $ 56! so why would you go to a store like lowes or Home Depot to get a tree when prices are just as good here if not better, and you can get a memorable experience! It was wonderful, we will definitely be back every year, we have a new tradition for our family :)

Plantation pines is an amazing place. My wife and I have been going for close to fifteen years now, and we now get to experience it through the eyes of our children as we take them each year as part of our family Christmas traditions. You could not ask for a more fun family outing. The family of owner/operators has always been more than welcoming and friendly. They treat you like family, and truly understand the meaning of Christmas. I cannot say enough good things or give enough stars to this amazing business. Such an asset to Tyler/East Texas.

Can’t believe there are no other reviews. Guess I am the first. What a cool experience. I used to live in Tyler and my girlfriend and I decided to drive out from Dallas this past Saturday. It’s a rural country tree farm not more than 5 or 6 north of Tyler. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who gave us the directions and scoop. Get on a trailer behind a tractor, they take you to the trees, grap a saw, find one, cut it and drag it to the road. Tractor takes you back, they shake and bag it, pay, and your done. We ended up with a six foot tree for $ 36 all in. We were really impressed with the quantity quality and prices of the trees. If you need a really big 10 – 12 foot tree they have them for less than $ 100. There is a gift shop, vendors, playground area for the kids, really got us in the spirit. The prices are much less than the tree lots in the Metroplex. We are going to make it an annual tradition.
