We were quoted a 3.75 rate and then ended up w 4.25 after buying a point (@ $ 1,800). We ended up using another lender, Southside.
In response her explanation below, she was well aware that I was moving jobs since I was moving to Tyler from another city. The rate changed because they weren’t taking care of business. When we moved to Southside, our deal was much better and there was so much less hassle.
