Again, love their breakfast tacos(when they actually have the ingredients). But, they have got to stop with the whole asking for tips in the drive-thru bit. It is not customary to tip at a drive-thru, nor is it even necessary to sign the cc slip. The nice blonde lady understands this and never asks you to sign. The little girl with the pink hair, just insists on creating this awkward moment, by asking you to sign the slip, which is her way of asking for a tip. I’m all for tipping when it’s necessary, but NOT in the drive-thru! STOPITGIRL. JUSTSTOPIT. So awkward.

I forgot for a second that we had a better alternative now in Torchy’s Tacos and accidentally went through the drive at rowdy’s. Waited 25 minutes for them to scoop pre prepared eggs and meat on a couple of tortillas. Something I could have done in less than 30 seconds. The lady behind the counter looks like she just came back from a meth bender. I really don’t want to look at someone with metal shooting through every orifice on her face right before I eat. I asked for salsa and got home to find no salsa. I thought after 25 min of focusing on putting two tacos into a bag you could remember to put in the salsa, I was wrong. Go to Torchy’s even if it is further away. You will still get your food faster and it will be far superior.

3rd time to visit here in last 3 months –Each time out of brisket –I’m thinking there’s a management issue that needs improvement –food is good just not what I wanted

Taco Tuesday yummy and cheap. will return on Tuesday. Peoples you don’t order Mexican food thru the drive thru you’ll get crappy food.

The chicken fajita meat had zero flavor other than the pepper they had put on it. The salsa was nothing to write home about. My friend had fajita beef, ground beef and chicken fajita — no flavor. The chips were tasteless and over salted. We would not go back.

It seems you can’t swing a dead armadillo by the tail(carefully, and wash your hands) in Tyler without hitting a taco shop; and I intend to try as many as I can this trip. So far, Rowdy Taco is my favorite. I tried a ground beef taco, grilled fish taco, and a brisket taco: Ground beef was excellent. But I expect excellence here. Any taco stand should be able to make a good ground beef taco. This place doesn’t disappoint, and I could be happy chowing on these babies all week. Fish Taco — meh. It was grilled, not fried. It was rather plain, and they add too much chipotle/ranch/mayo/whatever sauce to the mix. Thankfully, I had red and green chili sauces and added enough of those to cover up the goo sauce and spice up the taco. Brisket Taco — The BEST. Pulled it off! I didn’t get the BBQ version — that just seems a bit too much of a cliché’ mashup. But the regular Brisket taco is really, really good. They really pull this one off with the spices, onion, cheese, and accessories. It was really good. Did I mention I like it? Red and green sauces get a special mention here — they are really good, and really kicked the game up a notch. They ‘saved’ the fish taco for me. I finished with one more ground beef taco — just to put bookends on the meal. And the final taco was just as yummy as the first. I hadn’t eaten four tacos at one meal at one taco stand yet — this was the first time. I’m stuffed and very very happy. This place is definitely worth more visits.

Visiting from Houston and stopped in for a bite. Casual atmosphere, beers and specialty drinks. Happy Hour menu is adequate, margaritas very good! Grilled shrimp taco was a hit with its fresh cabbage and Chipotle sauce. Grilled fish was extremely bland. The fried chicken taco had a very well seasoned lemon peppery thin breading. My son had the green chili beef taco that came with pico on it; delicious! We ordered the taco combo that comes with a drink and an order of chips with their yummy salsa. You can upgrade the salsa to queso or guac, which we did, and both were superior to most good Mexican restaurants. Very fresh produce in the dips and pico. Chunks of fresh avocado in the guac and a very satisfying blend of finely diced veg in the queso. Definitely going back… possibly on Taco Tuesday, or any day during happy hour! Kids menu as well, with a .99 cheese quesadilla for instance. Love us some Rowdy’s.

MUCH better now that it is Rowdy Taco instead of Rusty. Tacos have greatly improved. I’m appreciative of the vegetarian tacos.

This place is filthy. If I had seen how dirty this place was before we ordered I would have walked put. Floors are filthy with dead bugs laying on floor. Bathroom was disgusting and stunk. Tables were not wiped down. If the areas the customer sees are filthy what does the areas we can’t see look like?

Love the new look. Love the fresh salsas. Love the brisket taco! Both Tyler locations are awesome and they run specials on certain days of the week. Beckham location has draft beer and the broadway location has a great drive thru. If you haven’t stopped in lately be sure you make time to do so!
