My son’s landlord contacted this company to check out a septic issue. The employee entered the property by unlatching two clips on a gate. He dug up the tank, determined the tank needed to be pumped and left, leaving tank exposed. AND gate unlatched. Never assuming that a grown adult would be so irresponsible, they let their dogs back out into the yard. Their pure bred yellow lab got out, and was hit by a car and killed. Thankfully, their other dog was ok. When we contacted the employee, he immediately said, «yes, I’m coming back out there to finish the job today», because he assumed we were calling about the incomplete job. When I explained about the dog, he put me on hold, called his office, came back on the phone and said, «the landlord said our price is too high, so we’re not coming back out». Not an apology, nothing. We called the main office and talked to the owner, who also never apologized. His response was«my guy said there wasn’t a dog in that yard». Who leaves their dog in the yard when they know a worker is coming? And who doesn’t re-lock a gate when you had to unlock it to come in the yard? We have received zero apology, and zero compassion from this company. They are only irritated because the landlord found a cheaper bid elsewhere. Even the man who hit the dog had the decency to stop and apologize.
