FYI the picture of the girl sitting by the pool is not of these apartments. That’s a misrepresentation! These are my complaints. 1. Before getting new roommates this year they changed the locks. I was out of town and came back to a note on the door about it. Of course they weren’t there, so I had to stay at a hotel. They payed for the bill, though after I yelled at them. 2. Everything is done on paper. Even the online rent payment service they have isn’t theirs. For every transaction you have to pay $ 12. –_– Like… what are you doing here in 2015? 3. They don’t match roommates which is unfortunate if you’re a grad student because most of the people who live here are undergrads. 4. When you’re signing a lease, prices go up by like $ 10ish every week. So if you go check it out and then come back a month later, your rent price will be about $ 50 higher than what they told you the first time. They don’t make this clear to prospective tenets which is not cool because I used to live in Austin and that’s not how it worked there. My first year I signed really late(July) and i paid $ 650 for a 3×3. My second year, I signed on as early as possible(in like March) and I got $ 550 for the 3×3. 5. They’re unreliable. They take holidays and breaks or just leave early whenever they please. So don’t be surprised if they’re not there during hours they claim to be. Half the time they won’t call you when something comes in the mail to the office. One time, there was something I was supposed to sign off on. No one called me and apparently the signing was waived so I went to the office and they had gotten it the day before… nothing was said about it. They’re unreliable with payment amounts(you can’t trust them). During the resigning process, I was given $ 540 for rent however the girl who did my lease said it’d be $ 550 due to the new trash service. I agreed to it however there was no record of that happening. They were actually doing the trash service fee in addition to rent so that $ 10 shouldn’t have been added on. So now I pay $ 558! Fun. 6. The trash service is useless. They only take 13 gallon bags. What the actual fuck… They’ll charge you for anything else. They’re making you pay for something you don’t want and that’s completely useless. In addition they don’t provide recycling… 7. They’re unprofessional. While one of my roommates was moving out, one of the people at the desk asked her to show the apt to a prospective tenant. ROFL, too gud. During the time between leases people came in a lot to fix up the other rooms. They’re not supposed to go into the rooms of the people still here. One time a white lady opened my door and stuck her head in. She proceeded to apologize for opening my door. Yea, and what about for sticking your head in like a dumbass? Where I’m from, intruders aren’t treated with kindness.
