This review pertains only to the optical shop, where you can purchase glasses… to expensive, I’d recommend EyeMart, Wal-mart, or just about any other mart.

I love mother Frances but trinity optical is a joke! I was put on hold for 10 minutes to make an appointment then hung up called back and held for another 4 minutes hung up called back only to be sent straight to hold. After I finally made an appointment for the next evening they claim that my appointment was the day prior and they were full for that day after I had left work early for the appointment. Take your money somewhere else.

It is hard to even express how angry this business made me. I am an auto technician and am very prone to getting foreign objects in my eye even though I always wear safety goggles. I would say about once every 6 – 9 months I will have to make a trip and get something removed. I usually use Josh Hooper, he previously worked at a small clinic in the medical distric, but recently moved to Trinity Optical. I made a quick appointment and they told me to come right on in, the receptionist was very friendly and said it would be quick and reasonable. I show up and they tell me that Mr. Hooper is on vacation and one of his associates will see me. Already there and needing something out of my eye, I agree. They quickly move me to a room and the assistant checks my vision, etc. I sit in the room for exactly 2 hours and 3 minutes. In walks Hans D. Schuricht, he sits down looks at my eye and agrees something is in it, grabs a needle, and retrieves the piece of metal. He squirted a few drops in it and sent me on my way. Every time I have had to do this it is straight cash payment and is usually $ 60 — $ 75. Not bad for 3 minutes of work, but they are proffesionals and always get the job done. This visit was no different than any other and the cashier tells me it is $ 283.40… for 3 minutes of work! I was shocked and asked if he marked something down wrong, so the cashier double checks and says there is no error and it that price is cheap because they gave me a 20% discount. After a few jabs back and forth I realize there is nothing I can do and have to pay. There was no warning that it would be so outrageous and no apology. My wife called to complain and received no sympathy. I urge anyone who reads this to stay away and stick the the local places!
