Nice shop! Found a great picture to hang behind a sofa… at a great price! I was only in Tyler a few days visiting family, but I’m addicted to consignment shops back home(San Diego) and found this gem(thanks to Google, strangely not Unilocal), so I took my mom to go check out someplace new. Basically, you ramble through several rooms/hallways of décor and have a large warehouse room of larger furniture. The man working there(sporting an awesome beard if I do say so myself!) was all smiles — but I loved that he just let you wander and didn’t breathe down your neck the way some do back home.

During the process of moving, I forgot to check on the furniture in time. They donated it without letting me know and were extremely rude & condescending about it. I wouldn’t recommend them.

I’ve only sold with Tyler Consignment Warehouse once, and I wouldn’t do it again. As a buyer, their selection is great and the prices are affordable. The model for sellers, however, is very frustrating. You essentially trust them to sell your item in 3 months time, and if it does sell, they do not contact you. You have to be constantly calling and checking on the state of your item and remind them to pay you. In the busy process of moving, I had forgotten that I left my items until recently. I called them back, and my 3 month deadline had expired. They are mailing me a check for the one item that had sold(and had sold a while back), but the other had already been donated without my knowledge. Overall, the«to-do» of babysitting the process was not worth the little bit of money that I made.

Nice and friendly people and just about anything you need is here in this warehouse, but if you see it, you should probably grab it. I came back a few days later for three items I wanted and they were all gone, it moves fast. However, they put new stuff in just as fast as they send it out, so I still left with some real good stuff. Good prices, no overcharging for odd items like I’ve seen before in other places. The manager Richard, or Ronald I think, I forget, but anyway, he and his wife were super helpful and knowledgable with good advice on putting things together for my mother, who I was getting the stuff for. Go see them, definitely.
