Went last night with another couple and their 4 yo daughter. Waited ½ hour for an outside table while other people kept being seated. Said something to the«staff» who acted as we just walked in after sitting right in front of them the whole time. Then said something to the manager who acted no better and still did nothing. We ended up walking out only to notice 2 viable open tables right out front. Had a nice dinner at their competitors next door.

Their drinks and food are not good, and barely worth half the price that one pays for them. Their drinks — even the classic ones — taste way off. They can’t even make a simple piña colada correctly. They have almost no vegetarian appetizers or dinners, and nothing healthy on the menu at all. The menu seems firmly fixed in the 1960s era. Just as disappointing is the non-stop loud music, live or recorded, which makes conversation with others difficult. I’ve given this place a chance twice, no more.

My boyfriend got the shrimp and lobster quesadilla and the beef empanadas. I got the baby back ribs. Loved all, but the empanadas taste exactly like ramen noodle seasoning. No joke. Not the packet kind, the nissin cup kind. Same smell, same taste. I just thought it was hilarious. Other than that, it was a nice environment, lovely music, and very kind waiters.

I have come to realize that I have high high high expectations when it comes to service and food! And today Erica totally blew me away! My husband father and I impulsively decided to drive up to Nashua and grab some dinner, and I’m so glad we chose this place. We did the pork goodness and empanadas for apps, had a couple smoothies, my dad and I both did the Mahi Mahi with shrimp and lemongrass sauce(I swapped my rice for linguini) and my husband did salmon and salad. Our drinks were always replenished without asking, our plates were removed the second we were finished eating, and our entrees were piping hot and fresh. Too bad we didn’t have room for dessert! I think my smoothie filled me up. Thanks for taking care of us you rock!!!

When we brought my boyfriend’s mother here(who is from Puerto Rico), she asked what the theme was supposed to be. «It’s what white people think the Caribbean is like». For the record, I’m a white person. That said, the food is surprisingly good for a national chain restaurant. Almost everything seems cooked-to-order, or at least made fresh that day. I’ve never had anything here that tasted like it came in frozen and was simply reheated in the kitchen. The house chardonnay is surprisingly delicious, as well. The frozen mixed drinks are pre-made and are just OK, however. We were thrilled to find that they had coquito, which is a Puerto Rico Christmas drink similar to eggnog, but it was not served chilled and wasn’t very good. As far as the food goes, highlights include the beef empanadas, which is almost always what my boyfriend gets, as well as my mother. They are not quite like Puerto Rican empanadas – they have curry – but they are delicious nonetheless. I enjoy the firecracker shrimp and the breeze cheese bites(dumb name, but they used to be plain fried yucca, which I imagine not enough people ordered due to not knowing what they were). The burgers are quite good, as well. I wasn’t a fan of the paella – it was too dry and had obviously been cooked early that morning and reheated as the scallops were little balls of rubber. A warning – it is always freezing in here, especially in the dining room. The bar is a little warmer, but I still usually leave shivering. They also do not have happy hour drink specials, thanks to the great state of Massachusetts, but the apps, including the beef empanadas, are half off from 4 – 6 on weeknights and then after 9 Sunday-Thursday. Overall, we’ll continue coming here for reasonably fresh food. The apps are large enough for an entre, and during happy hour we can each have an app, I can have wine, and we’ll be out the door for $ 25 or less, including tip.

Best place for ½ price apps 4−6pm! Stopped in this evening to celebrate 1 yr with my boyfriend. We met here for the perfect 1st date 29 Apr 2015… coconut shrimp & chocolate island(he likes to call it fun island). Live calypso music tonight… felt like A Jimmy Buffet concert during dinner. Great food, excellent service(Courtney), fun/happy atmosphere!

My fiancé and I went there and was so pleased, this place was soo awesome!!! The atmosphere, staff & Food were absolutely great!!! The waitress & helpers always near if anything was needed, and the food portions were great, so much so we definitely had leftovers. We can’t wait to go again!

So far I have came here twice, once at night and once during lunch. Both times I have gotten the cilantro chicken(I liked it so much the first time I couldn’t wait to go back and order the same plate lol) the plate was beautiful and was huge! Half of my plate got me full and I saved the rest for later. Great value since I got two meals out of it! My friend got the jerk chicken pasta bowl which was also really good and a big meal! The atmosphere was great, outside they have these torch things that really tied the whole look together. The staff both times I came were also very kind. Very nice place! I will be going back and suggesting it to my friends!

If you’re looking for a little tropical getaway than this is the place. I’ve been to Jamaica before and this place resembles it quite a bit, from the band playing, to the setup of how the place looked and felt. The waitress and service was great and I didn’t have anything negative to say about it. The food was ok honestly, I ordered the Curry Chicken bowl and it just had no taste to it at all, but because the service was great definitely a reason to go back and try something else.

Please do not waste your time and not read this. This restaurant is probably the best place I have been. The atmosphere inside just kicked my body into summer mode while it was 30 outside. The manager loves his job as he keeps smiling at the customers. My waitress a Lowell MA native was as friendly as can be. She as on top of everything if I needed another refill or more food she was at the table before I could even ask. The food was beyond perfect. Please be aware that this is carribean style food and you get what you pay for, it is a little expensive but other than that the food is amazing –Nick

Not overly excited. The nachos were lacking substance. By substance, I mean meat. The margaritas were just average. Nothing exciting or special about the menu. Ice cream scoop shapes of mashed potatoes that made me feel like we were having school cafeteria food. The ribs were the same quality as Chili’s. There was nothing about this place to make us go back. My daughter had the jerk chicken salad, which was the special, and she couldn’t eat it at all. I doubt we will go back. Service was good.

Very impressive. We ordered street tacos, shrimp quesadillas, and chipotle beef rice bowl. Totally flawless. We didn’t order alcohols, nonetheless the beverage still became another highlight of our lunch.

We went here with our family on this past Sunday. We had not been to a Bahama Breeze since our time in Florida. We had a great experience then and just as good now. The food was excellent and the service was very good. Our only draw back was the grilled chicken dish my wife received had a bit to much char, but is was not dried out or under cooked. We will definitely come back and try some of the other entrees on the menu.

I visited this restaurant during a business trip for dinner as it was recommended by one of my coworkers. I checked in using the Unilocal app and received a free small plate! I ordered the chicken empanadas and they were delicious… when they arrived. The food was great all around but the service was really slow. We arrived at 630p on a Tuesday night and there weren’t many people yet. Around 730p, the place was packed. Overall, I’m happy with the food but the service could use some improvement.

Another chain that falls way behind from the location in Florida. But it was good enough! The drinks were good, the food was good and plentiful. Not very expensive. Tons of eating space and parking spaces. A nice large bar and were nice outdoor seating. Wouldn’t consider it to be an special occasion spot or anything like that but its ok for a casual evening.

Stopped here on our way home from a visit with family in MA. It was a chilly Sunday afternoon and since we have been to Bahama Breeze in Florida locations many times, we thought why not get in a tropical mood and think«warm and sunny»! We were seated immediately after being greeted at the door. Our server came right over and was very friendly and informative. We still had quite a drive home so didn’t order any adult beverages, but there were many that sounded and looked good. When I checked in on Unilocal there was a complimentary small plate offer — yay! — we ordered the conch fritters and they were delicious! Yum! For our entrees my husband ordered a snapper dish with a plantain stuffed with rice and beans that he said was delicious and cooked perfectly. I tasted the plantain and it was indeed very tasty. I went with what I usually order at Bahama Breeze which was the coconut shrimp with rice and broccoli. The shrimp are soooo good with just the right amount of coconut coating and lightly fried to perfection. There is a yummy marmalade type sauce served with this dinner. The size of the meal is quite generous so I was able to bring quite a bit of it home for another meal. Service was great and the food was very fresh and delicious. We will be back when we need another tropical fix!

This restaurant takes you to another place. I almost forgot I was in Massachusetts. The tiki post and the live band on the patio give you nothing short of Bahamas. I ordered the the conch fritters which I disliked, but the shrimp and grits where very good. There was an abundance of shrimp. The staff were extremely pleasant and attentive.

Came here for a mini family reunion, party of 15. The restaurant was accommodating in seating our party and provided two servers for us. The restaurant is immaculate inside with a very fun tropical theme. The food and drinks were excellent. My only gripe is that they make the drinks looks so nice in the menu pictures but look miserably boring when you actually order them. My tip would be to sit outside. They have a great patio with live music.

Last night, I introduced some of my friends to Bahama Breeze, which is located behind the Pheasant Lane Mall. The food and service was excellent, complements to the chef and our server, Justin, who was knowledgeable about the menu. On their drink menu, they have a wide array of cocktails, which aren’t expensive as well as look and taste great. If you like fruity cocktails, I’d recommend the Bahama Mama and Curly Tail. The Bahama Mama consisted of three types of rum(Malibu coconut rum, Myers dark rum, Barcadi rum), Banana Liqueur, and two types of juices(pineapple juice, orange juice). It is garnished with a Maraschino Cherry and Pineapple Wedge. It was a sweet tropical alcoholic beverage with a foamy top. The Curly Tail consisted of Barcadi Oakheart, Malibu Rums, and citrus juices. It was garnished with pineapple chunks and lizard. After ordering our drinks, our server was no where to be found for 15 minutes but he eventually came out of the kitchen to take our food order. For appetizers, I’d recommend the Coconut Shrimp, which consisted of six large, crispy, shrimp battered with flour and coconut and served with citrus mustard dipping sauce. For entrees, I’d recommend the Wood-Grilled Turkey Burger, Key West Shrimp and Grits, Grilled Chicken with Cilantro Crema, and Applewood Bacon & Cheddar Burger. The Wood-Grilled Turkey Burger was topped with caramelized onions, guacamole, vine-ripened tomato and arugula on a toasted brioche bun. The Key West Shrimp and Grits consisted of tender shrimp sautéed with bacon and mushrooms in lemon butter sauce with fresh green beans over cheesy grits. My friend said the dish was on par. The Grilled Chicken with Cilantro Crema was served with mashed potatoes and roasted corn topped with a blend of three melted cheeses drizzled with cilantro-cream sauce. I fell in love with this dish. It consisted of tender chicken breast grilled with a sweet and tangy salsa-like marinate/glaze. I loved how the restaurant added roasted corn to the mashed potatoes as well as topping it with three cheese blend. It certainly made the side more interesting(in a good way) and made the side sweet and savory at the same time. By the end of the meal, we were too full for dessert :(

I came to this place with a big group last summer. I absolutely love the concept of this restaurant. The Virgin Islands is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited and coming here took me back. We sat outside and were seated right away even though it was a busy night. They had a lovely lady singing and playing the drums. She brought joy and laughter throughout the restaurant. I don’t remember exactly what I ordered but I remember the food being alright. I definitely remember them having big portions and good drinks though. I need to go back so I can give a better review on the food but honestly the atmosphere sold me. My party and I really enjoyed ourselves that night. It’s the perfect place for a birthday or just a fun night out with friends/family.
