Mac’s Market

Oh wow, if I could snap my fingers I’d have a wedge right this minute! My sister and I were back in Tyrone in October and November visiting family. We fell in love with Mac’s Market!!! The food is so incredibly fresh and delicious. The good news is we go to Tyrone yearly so we get to go back again soon, the bad news is I wish we went there 2 or 3 times a year. We love you Mac’s!

I can’t believe that this past trip to Tyrone was the 1^st time I’ve checked out Mac’s. :-O My mom is from a township right up the road, so for as much as I visit, I’m dumbfounded I didn’t check this place out sooner! :p Mac’s is a deli, café, small store (with a stellar selection of chips, pretzels, & drinks) & they even sell homemade soups, salsas & PA ice-​cream in their cooler section. –Yum– I’m sure if I lived in Tyrone, I’d take advantage of their in-​house meats @ their deli. It’s a quaint little place with (I believe) 3 tables, each with 4 seats, & they air live sports from a flatscreen tv up on the wall. So you have the option of either eating there. or if it’s not packed… you can have a seat while they’re preparing your order. Being a newbie in there, I wasn’t clear on the ordering process. Not to worry though — the staff was so friendly & helpful! :0). I love that place! Delicious food, AWESOME people, and like Paula H. said on here, such old fashioned charm… I can’t wait for my next visit. ;)

Best wedgie we have ever had! Wings expensive but they were huge. Otherwise very reasonable prices.

Hey! Where’d my last review go? Hands down, one of the best places to get a good hoagie, pizza, wings, and great service. Not to mention, the full service butcher, and deli. A must, if you are looking for good food.

The butcher shoppe has the best cuts of meat around, and the Pizza and Hoagies are superb. Owners and workers are very kind and cooperative with customers. Don’t miss out trying them.
