Mattress Discounters Tysons Corner

We came to Mattress Discounters on Black Friday, unaware of any sales they had on mattresses specifically within our budget, but knowing they did sell the mattress we wanted and had things within our budget.
We decided to go here second after Sleepy’s to compare the deals, with the intent of returning to Sleepy’s if Mattress Discounters would be more money. We called on our way over because this place is hella hard to find (see tip at end), and since no one picked up, we assumed they must be swamped. Um, no. There were two ladies there doing what looked like nothing. That made me not feel so good.
We made a bee line for the «Value Center,» a box of mattresses standing on their side in the back for el-​cheapos like us, and didn’t find the mattress we wanted there. The associate found it in their computer system, though, and they offered to match Sleepy’s price, which included two free pillows and a set of .99 sheets. While we weren’t pressured to buy a more expensive mattress, they did pressure us to buy a mattress cover, but upon learning the $ 15 Black Friday price (normally $ 50,) we were glad they did.
This store is small, and feels dated and slightly dirty. Sleepy’s has a lot more going for it in those respects, but since we were already here and it was the exact same price, we decided to ignore those things.
When our mattress was delivered to the store for free a few days later, we pulled around back and the associate loaded our mattress and box spring on top of our SUV and taught us how to use rope to secure it. They provided the rope and scissors. She went way above and beyond here and it was so appreciated.
Tip: You should be looking for the Petco on the corner of Leesburg Pike & Old Gallows Road, turn into that parking lot, and keep going. The front of this store actually faces Leesburg Pike, but you can’t access the store from there.

After the bad experience we had at Mattress Warehouse on Chain Bridge Road, we walked in to this store and what a wonderful, positive experience we had! The person who helped us was Keith Almond, who had some awards displayed to his credit which assured us that we were in good hands. He was very polite, relaxed yet professional and made it all happen for us. We were looking for a queen mattress set and pillows. He told us that their stores are clearing out all the inventory and gave us exactly what we were looking for within our budget. Did not push us to buy something we couldn’t afford and didn’t try to sell more than what we needed. He answered all the questions and was patient with us. We bought extras like a mattress protector, pillow protectors, and quite surprisingly upgraded to memory foam pillows because of the steep discounts on everything. So glad we were turned away from Mattress Warehouse Chainbridge road!
Thank you Keith Almond. You are highly deserving of all the awards that are out there for the exemplary customer service and honest to goodness prices. Highly recommend this store.
