Its a burger joint with a 50’s theme! What’s not to love? Food is good for the price. Drink choices are practically unlimited!

Okay, to start off, Be-Bops has THEWORST smelling ladies room that I have EVER been in. It is SOAWFUL that I would rather not go there just in case I might need to use the restroom during the meal. In the events that my hubby won’t take no for an answer(he loves the Bop Fries) I try my hardest to pick something new on the menu, because every previous thing I have gotten has been mediocre at best. No matter how hard I try to like this place, I’m NEVER satisfied, pretty much ever. Don’t waste your time. Go to ritual, they have better burgers that COME with fries.

I got the buffalo wings last night and first off I would like to say thank you for having large size wings! They make the local Wingstop wings look like bones. However, I was saddened to see that there was no celery and carrots with my buffalo wings. The last time I got wings(it’s been awhile) it came with the usually veggies. I mean, c’mon, you can not have buffalo wings and not have carrots and celery. I asked the waitress and she said that they have bell peppers… no just no, gotta have the carrots and celery

The milkshakes are good here, but I’d never eat the food again. I ordered an omelette with country style potatoes. The cheese wouldn’t melt(???) and the potatoes were burnt. My friend ordered their coconut crusted fish and chips. Which stayed under the heating lamp because it was cooked before mine, and because of this the fish was dry and the coating was burnt. Best thing served to us were the milkshakes.

Food is good and the retro look is definitely nifty. I always stop here when I’m in Ukiah. 2 complaints: 1. Getting the check either takes a very long time OR you get it so fast you feel like they want you gone 2. Prices are a bit high for what the food is.

I really wish I could give this place a 5 star because the service was amazing! But sadly, the food was pretty pricey for such small portions. ~Location It’s a cute little 50’s diner. Parking is easy to find! ~Food My dad ordered the chicken and fish combo($ 12.45) and apparently they ran out of fish. So instead of giving 2 pieces of fish &2 pieces of chicken, they asked if it was okay to give 3 pieces of chicken &1 piece of fish. It turns out the fish was extremely small and overcooked because the fish was chewy. The chicken was slightly better but still a little overcooked. My mom & I both got a single patty hamburger($ 8.45). I got the Little Joe’s Favorite which consisted of garlic supreme fries, American & jack cheese, bop sauce, all in a bun. The burger itself was pretty tasty, but it was a little small. For dessert, we shared the funnel cake fries($ 7.95). This consisted of vanilla ice cream & a choice of chocolate or strawberry syrup. They were hot & fresh & suuperr tasty! BUT there was only a small amount of fries.

Don’t waste your time or money here. First off, the service looked like they all just got yelled at or something. They worked with with heads down and didn’t talk loudly. The food is disgusting and arrived cold. Everything is from a bag pre-made and the prices are horrible. I didn’t even eat my corn dog or fries because it was disgusting. My milkshake arrived melted. Don’t waste your time.

I have been to this restaurant twice. Both times my order came to the table it was wrong and the waitress was rude. The prices are to high and the fact you have to pay extra for fries(that they don’t tell you about) seems wrong to me. The dining area is small and has a claustrophobic feeling. The food itself is okay, but not worth the hassle of wrong orders and rude servers.

In all honesty, I probably wouldn’t come here again. The food was okay, but the portions were huge. We were able to split the chicken and fish combo between two people, and still had some left. Which works for us. But again, the food was just okay — and pricey. $ 20.23 for the combo and two drinks. It took a really, really long time to get our food though. And they weren’t even busy! I like the feel of the place, how vintage it all looks. And I was very happy to actually get a large Shirley temple — not something that happens often enough. Still, if I ever find my way to Ukiah again, I’ll probably look elsewhere.

We are in Ukiah visiting a friend and landed on Be Bop’s. It looked cute and sounded good. It was really neither. I ordered garlic fries because I thought they couldn’t screw that up too badly and I wasn’t super hungry. What a disappointment! Not only weren’t they very good, but the server never came back to check on how things were. When I pushed the nearly full basket to the end of the table so she would see it, she came by and asked«Is there anything else?» I said, «No, just the check», thinking she would ask about the fries. She didn’t. And then we had to wait a very long time in line to pay our bill. I finally got fed up and put the money on the counter(sorry, no tip) told the manager that the service and food wasn’t very good and walked out. When we travel to new places, we look for something that catches our eye. It did that but it didn’t catch our hearts.

We are shooting a music video here for two days and the management has been more than accommodating. They approved for us to drill in their ceilings, made us coffee/hot chocolate in the middle of the night, turned on the burners so we would stay warm, and were just so friendly. But you’re probably looking at reviews for food/service. Although they didn’t have the coconut for the fried fish, everything else we got was amazing(all breakfast). The interior is super clean and perfect traditional diner style. I love everything about this place.

A themed burger diner… We stopped by while driving through town. Was not disappointed, burgers were a ok. The AC was cranked too high on a cold night so it was hard to ease into dinner while sitting stiff inside a booth(we eventually asked if they could lower it as we noticed others complaining). Serve can be improved. I asked for a side of mayo twice and finally gave up. The place was not packed but it might be worth considering to have more than 1 person waiting on all the tables. Root beer floats is solid.

Stopped by here on our way through town. The atmosphere fun. The service was great. Food was just what you would expect in a joint like this. It was ok… not great… but ok! The atmosphere makes the place and we had an upbeat, friendly & efficient waiter. We would definitely stop again.

Great place! We left very full and happy. Great service and food. Portion sizes were more adequate! Bathrooms were clean, the waitress even had a poodle skirt on. Love this place.

This place used to be good, but has been declining for the past few years, while their prices steadily rise. Tonight will be the last time I waste my money there.

We stopped by on a Sunday evening and there about 6 people working there and just a few customers at the table. After ordering milkshakes it took ages for the shakes to come out. I kept looking around like where are they. All they need to do is scoop ice cream, add milk and put it under the machine to churn. Usually it takes minutes. I think it took 10 – 15 here. This did not bode well for the food. We finished the milkshakes then had to wait around some more for a single burger and fries. I know this isn’t fast food but I thought diners were supposed to the old idea of fast food before chains like McDonalds redefined it. I wasn’t expecting a leisurely meal at a diner. I’m not sure what everyone was doing but this ended up being a not very quick stop on a long drive for okay food when we really just wanted to get home. Is McDonalds our only other option in this town? The place has an old school feel — just missing the classic cars for which they have reserved parking outside. Also very hot inside. No a/c.

Menu is interesting — almost entire menu is named after a celebrity. I ordered their Elvis burger –nothing stood out, it was your classic burger — lettuce, tomato, onion and bop sauce(bop sauce made no difference). On the menu they list Shake and Fries, no I did not ordered, although I was tempted to order. I asked the waitress about this item and she mentioned it was a side of fries and whatever flavored ice cream for your dip. Is that it! I can do that by ordering a shake and dipping my fries all without paying more… Yeah I think Ill skip this! Near the register they had pictures of people that tried the Belly Buster Challenge — I think they initially started the challenge with 9 patties and are now at 12 or 13. Anyways, only a few have managed to complete. Staff is great and service is awesome. Food is OK, I thick they need to come up with a special item on their menu.
