Enoteca, Wine Bar

I just love this place! Such a great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine (or two or four!). They have a great wine selection. Definitely a place to check out if you haven’t been!

Starting off on a solitary road trip to the North Coast next to the Oregon Border, I was a bit hungry and thirsty one Friday night and my handy, dandy Unilocal app recommended I try this joint. Located in the Nor Cal town of Ukiah, Enoteca wine Bar offers local and Italian wines in a funky store front in Ukiah’s downtown. I happened upon it during the town’s ArtWalk and there were people strolling about, a talented flutist out front, and with the popular Asian joint across the street completely reserved, this became my dinner option.
Well, if a cheese plate fills you up for dinner :-) Tonight it did along with a glass of Navarro (Mendocino winery) Edelswicker. A perfect combination this wine was with the cheese plate I ordered that included local cheeses. with the flutist and downtown activity, a lovely first stop on my roadtrip.
The even lovelier part came at the end. I guess if you order a glass of wine you get appetizers for free so my bill, $ 9.00 glass of wine, tax and a $ 2.00+ tip came to $ 12.00 even. A great glass of wine and an excellent cheese plate for $ 12.00!!! Holy smokes that’s an excellent deal. If I lived in Ukiah I would be here constantly. And if you live here or just driving through, you should stop in. The lovely woman serving was also very nice too. A great start to my trip!

Cozy, classy place with great wines from California and Italy. Knowledgeable, nice staff. Works as a perfect place to have a glass or two of wine (with a cheese platter) before dinner in a Oco Time across the street to eat.

A very lovely spot to have really good wine with a friend or 2. It’s very cozy, a bit spendy, but nice for a night out. Our Sommelier was very kind & had good advice & insight about what was present to be enjoyed.

Best addition to downtown scene in recent years. Wonderful Mendocino and Italian wines at great prices. Sophisticated, intimate setting.
